Since the game is basically dead by now (thanks blizz), what’s the best MMO at the moment to migrate to?
WoW is not perfect but it’s pretty good. check it out!
Seems you’re confused, take the mask off and you’ll realize you’re still in one and no need to migrate to
this game is a dumpster fire of stupidity and ignorance and the company is to blame for all the issues it has. I am so sick of the I’m offened crowd wanting everything removed.
You can’t even get the developers to fix issues long ago but they sure wasted no time fixing a XP bug in 12 hours…
Need those Mau…
Because that was an exploit
Highly subjective so just try them yourself.
Clark?! And for a second there on the 404ed thread I thought you had a sense of humour… /sniff
I think the best mmo is WoW but it’s in a real bad place right now. The Devs don’t care and hate the players. Except for the art, which I don’t mind, FF is the closest thing to old school WoW I have tried. This is my opinion and I in no way speak for anyone else, but I’m having fun with FF right now.
Clark was promoted to the ultimate Blizzard shill when Yesuna left.
Bug =/ Exploit
FFXIV for me at the moment. I will always prefer WOW’s theme to Final Fantasy themes but it is a fantastic game.
FF14, Lost Ark, Ashes of Creation, and New World look good and are coming out eventually. Save your money for a few months and play those games when they release. You’re not missing anything in this game.
I think this is a big issue right now. WoW is not bad, but it’s in a really bad spot with developers who have been spiteful since WoD and who think that they’re designing the most perfect game in existence.
I LIKE WoW, but I also can’t stomach it right now because I leave work and feel like I’m back at work when I log in and see my list of chores I have to do to stay relevant. And if I don’t want to do those chores, there’s nothing else for me in the game. It’s…frustrating to want to play but also not.
Per the OP: you could give FF14 a try, or ESO. I guess it depends on what you want, be it hard core or casual.
If you’re some sort of “dedicated to MMO’s” player, you likely already know which games are out there. I’m going to guess you even have access to YouTube or Twitch to watch some gameplay to see if it’s even something you’re interested in!
If you’re not married to MMO’s, I vote you just look elsewhere. Lots of fantastic games out there.
I just wanna take my night elf … not all ne… some look ugly af imo… but this NE - I wish I could take her and my chad bear to a game that is in the wilderness and collects resources. That’s where I’m @ in life since retail sucks and my wrist/ elbow is messed up.
FF14 is top dog right now.
idk
But I’m really liking to play Demon Mommy with my friends.
Who are you talking about?
Can’t really say “best”, because it really just depends on preferences…
MMOs I’d suggest checking out:
- FFXIV (excellent story, consistent patch cadence, wide variety of content, challenging endgame)
- ESO (really easy to lose yourself in playing through the open world, fun dungeons, can’t really speak on endgame)
- GW2 (living world story is A+, open world exploration encouraged, excellent cosmetic/dye system, dungeons are pretty fun)
There are other options out there, as well. Swords of Legends Online has been a fun diversion that provides a very different theme than the above three.
Apparently nobody…and I’m hallucinating too early on a Monday morning!
