Or 2h weapon animations, sneak and combat sounds are all pretty transparently inspired by Conan the Barbarian 1982.

Just like our ranged attack use Arnold’s shotgun flip latch action from T2.

For horde I would say Orc or Troll (male troll specifically)

For alliance I would say Human, Worgen, KT, or Dwarf

I don’t like the Orc running animation post-WoD. Something weird looking about it since then.

Top 3 for me:

Night elf (either gender) - they look fantastic in plate and the animations work well with them.

Blood elf (female) - blood elves look great as every class. Even if your not a blood elf fan, they are arguably one of the best races for transmog and costume design.

Orc (either variety) - massive shoulder pads. Nuff said. Top tier warrior.

I would like KT but it’s dumb that they all have the same big belly body. They are like all clones or something. It’s not like it’s an average build it’s like a distinct body shape. Makes no sense.
