Best guesses on the next class?

There is nothing about a Tinker class that appeals to me at any level. It continues taking WoW in a direction I despise in fantasy (mechanized tech guns etc) and guts engineering.

Yeah that makes sense

My money’s on full class overhauls and no new classes.

Pretty sure the forums call it Earth Warden.

Personally I’d like a two classes Necromancers sporting from Maldraxxus and Tinkers, why not both :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I enjoy those things in small does precisely because they come in small doses. They’re fun sideshows on the periphery. Much of that fun comes directly from the zany contrast to the main themes.

This is something that kills interest the second you shift the spotlight to it, though. It’s like when the X-Files tried to keep running without Scully and Mulder.

So all of them!

LMAO!

what class fits the bard niche?

Nerco is like warlock… so I guess no.
Maybe a blood mage, samurai and ninja, dual wield pistol gun gunslinger, illusionist?

Bards all the way! We need the wardrummers from WC3 to be playable, it’s a missing class from the units in that game.

I don’t want a new class, I want 4th specs (where it makes sense)

I’d love to see Shammy Tanks, or Priest with a proper Holy DPS spec, maybe a DH healer? I dunno BUT ITS EXCITING TO THINK ABOUT

Shaman with totems and Pally with buffs.

I mean, they did in Classic.

They really gutted us since.

Can’t really call us “primary support” classes anymore.

As such, Bard should not be implemented as there is no primary Support role in WoW.

They had most of that up until WoD or Legion. I know they ended up pruning a huge amount of the support abilities a while back. Wish they didn’t lol >.>

you got the mechanics but not the aesthetic. I wanna be a swaggerful cloth wearing musician!

Bards don’t need to be primary support just because EQ made them that way. They can be heals, dps, dps.

EQ. And DAoC. And DnD. And dozens of other properties that stemmed from DnD.

I mean, we could make a Warrior that throws axes at people to heal them, or a Priest that facetanks in cloth. We could absolutely nail the theme. But their roles are just as integral to their class as their thematics.

Same applies to Bard.

Any implementation in WoW would be a mockery.

And I like Bards too much to subject them to that.

Either that or bring back support roles overall including the Bard. I see bards as dps-support and heal-support specs

But as of now, there’s no such thing as support in WoW really, and no real need for crowd control except in PVP which I neither care about nor believe should impact PVE design in any manner

They got nothin coming.

Devs can barely keep our classes together atm.

Precisely. Which is why they should not be made playable in WoW.

People seem to get the vibe that I hate the class and, as such, do not want it playable. I love the Bard. And I would want nothing more than for WoW to be an environment conducive to its implementation. But since WoW is not that place, I do not want this thing I love to be disrespected.

There won’t be one because Legion.
