“chances” dont work like that.
Um. They’re Engineers who have a title Tinker, not Tinkers as a class like Warrior. I mean its a job, not a class. That’s like having a Blacksmith as a class.
As long as it is a ranged dps i do not care.
Hey, if people can compare Death Knights to Necromancers, I can compare Arms Warriors to Blade Masters.
One other downside is that it would probably be a Tank class, and do we really need one of those more than another Healer?
Problem is that every Druid race has access to Priest right now.
It would be different if none or few of the Druid races already had Priest connections, but as it is…
Whatever class it is it definitely needs a tank spec.
That’s satire, right? The three classes they added to the game were all tanks. We have plenty of tank classes.
I still think seeing a cute Dryad trotting around casting heals would be way cute and fun too!

I feel like there’s a decent chance Blizzard is just done adding classes. The last one didn’t even get 3 specs.
I feel like it’s also been made pretty clear that DK is WoW’s take on Necromancer, even if traditional Necro fans are unhappy about it.
On top of that, ‘Bard’ as a concept is very clearly a support class, and WoW has actively moved away from the concept of support classes. It wouldn’t work. If anything, we might one day get playable instruments as a secondary profession or cash shop toy or something.
And… Tinker? Tinker is an engineer. I don’t see them stealing that entire aesthetic from the profession for a class. But if I had to make a choice and say “this is most likely”, I guess it’d probably be this over the other 2 common suggestions.
I think it’s more likely that, if we get anything, it’ll be additional specs to existing classes, though.
I feel pretty confident in saying there won’t be another class. I think the team they have just isn’t capable of content + another class. I think they have demonstrated what they are currently capable of producing and given the content problems, bugs, balancing issues, I don’t think another class is in the future for a very long time.
I also think the team has been given a formula for xpacs. They get dungeons, raids, zones, 1 xpac hook feature, that’s it. Minimal spend to capture what profit they can.
Fear the fearsome fury of the forest fawn!
I think the likelihood that we are done getting new classes is very high. But, that being said to quote a man “never say never”, the next class will most likely have a tanking spec. My money is on engineer, tinker, or some sort of dragon based class.
My guess (Hope really), Tinker.
I hope it is a Tinker.
Eh, Tinker is my guess I suppose.
Something that involves beer, like a… Brewmaster. Oh, wait, nevermind, we already got that I suppose.
Artificer or Bard. Both using mail armor and potentially ranged weapons.
That’s a title not a class
None of those were classes
Idk I never saw a tinker
They just wore a bunch of clockwork armor that wasn’t exactly a tinker class, they were just engineers?
idk if faction leaders take on a class. Vol’jin was like 4 classes in one.
those were just random npc’s that melee’d lol they werent all a singular class
not a class
Bard, Necromancer, and Tinker seem to be the top guesses by everyone. Tinker doesn’t make a bit of sense, Necromancer would require stealing from a lot of other classes (not that they didn’t do that with the previous three added classes) and Bard would seem to be a niche WoW doesn’t even care about: utility.
So who knows.
The next class is the dragonsworn. Next expansion will be dragon isles. You heard it from me first.
Best guess on the next class? None. At least for a very long time. If they’re heavily struggling to try and get 9.1 out by August as is the word around the block, then they’re going to have very little time to work on the next expansion as is if they’re planning on doing a 9.2 as well. Trying to fit a new class into the next expansion with all the difficulties they’re having would probably be a deathknell for everything else in the expansion.
We’re not getting another class for at least three or four more years, minimum most likely. I’m not making excuses for Blizzard - This is almost entirely their own fault at this point.
