Lol Classic Fan boy? Nah child… I’m a Wotlk Fanboy… that was a good time, Classes felt right… DK are trash but I like WOTLK.
Now you on the other hand…You have nothing from Vanilla, you are a baby… Big fat cry baby. You should not be talking about classic if you don’t have time invested in it… like others.
Also, how can I sound like something… when you can’t hear my voice? This is typing… You you mental?
If memory serves, my very first 60 took me about 10 days played (this was around patch 1.8). I think with my experience and add-ons, I can get that down to ~7 days. I find it really unlikely that I’ll be able to get in more than 2 hours playtime per day now, so I’m looking at 84+ days. Which makes me both sad and happy.
Now I won’t argue if you want to label Classic as ‘WoW-lite.’ Don’t matter.
But Blizzard, the Community and Community sites all use the term ‘vanilla’ to refer to pre expansion WoW. Retail WoW is not Vanilla.
Definitions are never right or wrong, only useful and not useful. If you want to redefiine something, then make it useful. Seeing as the term already has an accepted use, then I am betting your redefinition effort will fail. GL.
it took me 5 months, to be fair. I don’t think the OP is talking about /played time, he’s talking about how many IRL days pass. I think he’s probably more right than you think.
yeah because World of Warcraft totally didn’t change at all when Activision took over and changed everything
makes sense. you can be a fan of both, but do not pretend Activision’s World of Warcraft is no different than the people who made the original WoW, reading a bit of history of the original WoW devs is interesting but theyre long gone or out of power since the first expansion
