I dont know about that. Final Fantasy MMO games have been previously on shaky grounds. I understand FF14 is doing well at the moment but it is still no WoW. 1 class to rule them all. lol
FF XI held its own all the way to the bitter end (its final expansion) and yet it's still going with a required sub despite being over a decade old.
FF XIV...well, let's just say that their latest expansion has been one disappointment after another. It's ugly. Hopefully the next will be better, but I doubt it. It has been a slippery slope since ARR.
They said "many" of their best devs. Many. Not "most". Not "all". And big as the mobile market is nowadays, they'd be stupid to ignore it. Doesn't mean they're abandoning their hugely successful PC games; they're just expanding their business.

This,plus it's a Heels vs Babyface video,he does nothing but crap on Blizzard for literally everything for clicks and to work people into a lather. Dunno why people want another game company to go belly up.
I think people are also forgetting that Diablo Immortal isn't even made from WoW but an outside company and is only providing the art so moving 'many' for a Diablo game sees redundant when they don't make it from the ground up.......
The only game I could 'see' needing a loyal dedication of dev's would be Hearthstone but considering the PC, and Mobile ones are basically the same it still doesn't make much sense to me.
As for making more Mobile games....... Why not just hire more developers AFTER seeing how Diablo Immortal does while keeping those 'many' devs on the games they are making money from instead?
Seems counter intuitive to even state their making more Mobile games when their audience and income is PC as it would clearly be taken out of 'context' especially after you consider that Diablo Immortal is supposed to be the new core of Diablo, not Diablo 3........
that does make it concerning for the future of their other games.

No one does considering their predominately wow content creators it would be dumb to make them go belly up........
I wonder what the Blizzard White Knights will be saying in a few years when they have no games to play except mobile games on their phone (while they are sitting on the toilet)?
