Maim and clone. 
Bear is really solid overall but yeah useless on a few maps like silvershard or ravine.
Honestly not the worst at carrying sometime but it depends.
Again with the control thing because the spec has instant clone
Usually you’re spam peeling your flag carrier rather than hitting the efc.
Good at sitting/spinning and capping on most people because they don’t know what you do. 
Sure, but compared to DK or prot warriors, I’d say they fall pretty far behind. DK is borderline oppressive in what they can do to a priest. Warriors are a funny one. There is a huge line between the good ones and the bad ones and what they can offer is pretty unconventional.
I think it mostly depends on the comp of the other team and what you have to assist them. If they have a dk and you have no freedoms… err…

Depends I guess. I have seen both. More in slowing the EFCs progression across the field. All comp dependent regardless.
Different roles. Veng usually hits bases.
Idk prot is pretty basic although I guess most can’t handle cc caps because they don’t play double ravvy.
Ye, hitting efc can be fine just depends on where everybody is.
For sure, but I think what gives prot warriors and dk’s such a unique spot is their overall field control and being disruptive. Not that prot warrior damage is awful, but it’s not like I’d take them by choice over a good arms or fury.
I watched a rock star prot paladin carry his team to a 3-0 Twin Peaks win a while back. But legit “pro” tank players are so few and far between. Most of the time they’re just relying on opposing players being completely clueless as to how to work around them.
