I canât remember the last time I died soloing as an elemental shaman. The other classes must really be easy then.

Worst soloing:

Arcane is actually a good 1v1 spec tho!

Arcane Mage isnât that bad in 1 vs 1. Some ranged match ups can be poor but they are pretty much immune to all melee dps classes.

Out of classes Iâve tried
Best PvE soloing:
-Unholy DK (not even great item level and soloed visions from the very first time I entered one. See a lot of posts of people not even being able to do that with better item level)
-Destruction Warlock (my warlock wrecks, no issue what so ever.)
-Havoc DH (this is actually #1 but I didnât put the list in order. Most OP class ever made)
-Fury Warrior (the self sustain is insane)
(note: Donât have a hunter, so canât comment on them. They probably pretty much tied with warlock)
best 1vs1 pvp:
-Destruction Warlock (Iâve even melted demon hunter faces. This spec is super OP, but tied with havoc just cause it takes time to build up and cast and havoc can go in instantly)
-Havoc DH (did I say this was the most OP class ever made?)
Worst soloing:
-All mages, with caveat arcane has an easier time leveling AND mages in general are actually better than shaman if skilled enough with enough leech
-Both dps shaman specs, squishiest class ever made feels like a mage with weaksauce heals (mage with 10%+ leech actually heals more without costing mana lol). does NOT feel like they are wearing âMAILâ armor. Unless they thought mail was something you get in a mailboxâŚthat would make sense.)
Worst 1vs1 PVP:
-Shamans (in group pvp they are pretty decent though)
Bonus because the best class also has best looks
Best transmog sets:
-Warlocks
-Mages
-Warriors
-And personally I like how death knights armor sets look
Worst transmog sets-
Well no class is really bad, but hunters are the worst sadly. They are hardest to find a good set for.
I was going to correct a lot of mistakes in ops list.
Then I saw what server they play on.
Lolâd instead.

Iâm going with my experience and Iâm not listing PvP as I donât have enough experience:
Soloing
BM Hunter: It doesnât get any easier soloing. I always make a BM hunter farmer with mining/herbalism to start any expansion because I know he will be easy to level and can farm almost anything with moderately good gear.
Demonology Warlock: Not quite on par with BM hunter, but closer than most other specs.
Prot Paladin: It wonât kill the fastest, but you will rarely die and can solo a bunch of mobs at once.
Unholy DK: Pretty good at soloing, but because you have to take the hits a bit more limited than the above.
Hardest to solo:
-
Rogue: If they can kill it fast, then theyâre usually good. If they have to take on a high AC and high hit point mob, often their cooldowns wonât get them past. It is nice being able to stealth past tons of stuff to get something you want or need. That can make some solo situations easier.

Demon Hunter: This changes after you get Demonic substantially.

Mage: Same as previous two. Squishy and fewer defensives than the Rogue or DH. And not much healing. You either blast it down or it gets you down.

Saw this in search and it isnât too old of a thread yet.
I find soloing on havoc DH is easy, but only once it gets all its talents. Then it becomes the most OP solo class ever made. Good in PVE and PvP and single target and AOE
BM hunter is always a good one to go with, can never go wrong with BM hunter for PVE soloing. its pvp seems a little lacking. Tbh I find the class a little boring so I donât play it.
Destruction warlock is amazing for PvP, but I found soloing visions easier on my hunter and demon hunter. With that said, destruction warlock has not that many issues with visions overall. The problem is how long each cast takes and visions need a lot of movement.
Never play a shaman if you want to solo. Mage with 10% or more leech heals for more than shaman without cutting into the dps rotation. And shaman feel like they have an armor of a mage, except arcane mage gets a rather decent shield with far more ways outside of long cooldown elementals to avoid damage. Shamans are the worst solo class in the game outside of their elemental cooldowns. You wonât see them soloing the 4+ million bosses like death knight, demon hunter, warlock and hunter can.
Havoc DHs for pve and pvp. Please nerf them. If you dont, i swear im gonna create a havoc DH as my horde main cos i dont have one.
Great. Lets all make DH and fill the cities , dungeons and bgs with DH untill people actually throw up or game developers are tired of it.
Best solo PvP is Unholy, followed by Windwalker/Havoc, then Fury, then everything else.
If Unholy lost Transfusion and Necrotic Strike, it would be nearer to bottom tier.

Unholy is good for PVE too, they have a lot of self sustain and can solo 4 million+hp bosses without any issue. But PvP they are lacking, unless they rely on two talents (as you said) which is dangerous as one nerfbat or removal will destroy them.
Havoc and Fury (never played windwalker) are safer because they rely on their class mechanics not so much individual talents. Both are great for PvP mostly because of their mechanics more than talents.
Which fury is just insane in PVE. The amount of self healing and sustain they have is greater than blood DK. Plus they get the bonus of it being super fun to play with more DPS (being a dps spec and all). I think only havoc DH wins out on self sustain in PVE.
