Hah I cannot fathom why someone would pay for this game if they are a casual. Besides raiding and mythic + , pvp there is t really much to do

I pretty much hate bellular but he has started up these conversation based videos where he is sitting down with some guy and just talking and those are actually OK.
Otherwise yeah…he’s a waste of space.

the vast majority of people complaining there’s nothing to do, have barely touched any of the existing content.

I think this is a great point. I do not believe blizzard should listen to their 0/10 ivl 170 2 month at a time sub for feedback. There should be an inclusive group of players hand selected for a wife variety of reasons blizzard should communicate with. Even the OSRS poll system has worked really well for their community. To say we don’t deserve it is a bit extreme, but GD on wow forums probably one of the biggest sh*t shows of a community.
I do agree that WoW has encouraged a large amount of anti-social solo players who don’t participate in the group content, which is majority of the game. I play all forms of content, because I enjoy all of it. However thats not the case for everyone, I strictly only use to pvp. If pvp was in a bad state, I would quit the game. Blizzard is very aware of the solo players and all they got was the maw and covenant campaign, i I wouldnt have stuck around longer than a month if that’s all I played the game for.
I would think the game would be in alot better spot of the alt expansion felt actually alt friendly.
Pvp on an alt is painful
M+ has Valor now which is huge, but still relies on the great vault heavily.
Raiding is fine, but majority of players don’t want to mythic raid. And heroic raid gear feels bad, I only got 1 upgrade from heroic when my guild progressed through it.
Did you do your research before you claimed that 77 day patches were clickbait? And what Blizzard statement do you have to refute his opinion. Ultimately you have an opinion here also but offer little evidence to counter his. You should feel okay to want to scam these forums with no such evidence but I can see others wanting to cancel you and it sure would be ironic if that happens.
Your only two reasons are very weak. One is outright proven wrong (the legion patch cycle) and another is up to interpretation (the wow population).
Plenty of what he says I disagree with and clearly hes out there to make money but so is Blizzard. Blizzard is a company out to make money and I wont white knight for them when I clearly see my money being less valued every new expansion. A smaller patch and content cycle means less value for the customer. Less attention to the concerns of the community that pays for this game from the developers just adds onto the idea that we are no longer valued in the same way. Clearly the pandemic has done a few things about this but at the same time they have done well to ignore many of our concerns. They did not #pulltheripcord, they did not revert the drum nerfs, they still tied legendaries to auction house markets instead of letting us buy it from a vendor, they barely touched many of the classes and legendaries we had. The forums are full of these topics and Bellular brings them up in his videos. Sometimes hes providing an echo chamber for people and sometimes he makes good/bad points. People call him out when he is wrong all the time.
However the examples you have given are weak as many of us have pointed out.
Except he is pointing out how much worse WoW is becoming. SL is worse than BFA right now. And I actually enjoyed BFA a bit.
Wow has been becoming worse since it’s release. He’s feeding the community negative energy on the games current state which is not that bad, we’ve seen worse.
So you’re mad at bellular because he’s… criticizing blizzard for the direction they’re going? How is that toxic? Thats his opinion (and it is usually backed up with stats/comparisons/things they could do to improve).
I love him because he is one of the few creators who actually IS pointing out what is wrong and is giving feedback on how to fix what wrong. He has done multitudes of videos/streams all filled with ideas on what Blizzard could try and do and he was/is also a big player of the PTR cycles and he gives as much feedback as he can.
Just because a consumer is calling out a company for not going in the best direction with their game doesn’t make them toxic, it usually just means they love the game and are concerned for it (which Bellular and a lot of creators definitely are atm).

We have this tendency to shoe-horn players into certain categories. I guarantee I do not fit into any of those you have listed. You are going to need an infinite amount of space to describe an absurdly large amount of players.

And yes you’re right! And it’s very hard to make so many different type of players happy! I think they have done a great job for competitive players, but alot of players who are not competitive feel left out.
Is it a criticism though? He can certainly criticize, but what solutions does he offer?
Name one solution your love addiction has given that will improve the game.
Please, please define for me what the best direction of the game is? The best job in the world is to be a backup quarterback. You get all of the pay, but none of the criticism. Please do clarify as to how YOU would improve the game, but with your own money on the line.
