At least Asmongold and Bellular played the beta. The beta is where everybody who is playing it complains about some obvious design flaws. is completely ignored, and turns out in retrospect to have been mostly right. And you’re saying that they should have instead been making videos to say that the game is perfect and everything will be fine even though they knew it wasn’t true?

Yea. Make the guy who spent the entirety of the expansion doomsaying and bandwagoning the lead dev. Make the guy who like the sheep he is followed the other sheep to that other MMO. Make the guy who did nothing content wise in SL other than +9s in season 4 and is finally having a good time lead dev.

Sometimes he puts a lot of work in on something that shows its complexity. And then he sees something else and is like, “Shiny!”
None of these clown content leeches should have any say in how the game is developed.

Ideas are worthless until there is something to show for them. An idea becomes unique when something’s done about it. That’s the driving philosophy behind game design, as well.

I don’t think that is the case.
People complained about not having vainilla servers and they launched one.
Players complained about borrowed power, and shadowlands ditched the AP system from legion/BFA and kept anima mostly related to cosmetic rewards.
Now they will remove the mission table, and will return to a more azeroth based storyline
Shadowlands saw the return of PVP vendors
Absolutely disconnected? Nah, they hear some stuff ocassionally and applied it. Maybe not as fast or as much as some people would like it, though
