You are arguing in circles. First its upgrade the GPU and you will be fine, now its a gpu can last 10+ years and be fine, and consoles being replaced 3-4 times in a 10 year period.

The ps4 came out in 2013, and is still having games made for it cross gen. The ps5 just came out a few months ago, not even a year old yet.

So at MOST, if you bought every generation of console, you would have done 2 replacements going from PS3 to PS4, and then PS4 to PS5. Also assuming you purchased it DAY OF RELEASE, that would be $1400 between 3 generations of consoles at MSRP. $1800 if you upgraded to the PS4 Pro.

Since PS+ didn’t cost money UNTIL the PS4 generation, at $60 a year 7 years thats an extra $420, so a total of $2220 over 15 years.
