For the record, you don’t choose which orphan to help, you help them all through a circular chain of quests.

Took me three years after completing all other requirements before I landed this.
Yeah, this is exhausting. Just running in a circle trying to get into the right position for the quest to register. Currently stuck at the Rocket Drill not registering.

Head cannon is they all stay with me in the class hall, at least until we have housing.

It’s funny cause IC I have like… 10 kids at this point. Would be nice if we got NPCs in the house.
Took forever to get the Arathi kid done, things not triggering, long dialogue and the list getting added to. When I thought I was done and got handed the goblin orphan I decided to head for Outland & Northrend and knock them out instead. Got me the three new pets.

Wait til you get to Dornogal… This quest is so buggy.
OK, the Dornogal orphan quests took almost an hour. Screw this, no way I’m doing it two more times. Back to the original Org quests for me.

You mean me, the complete non-PvPer, running around a BG with a kid in tow in my non-PvP gear trying to fill that effing list? Return a flag in WSG… That one was a pain. For me AND the dedicated/real PVPers I was ruining the BGs for. Bless their hearts I am sooooo done with that one. I got PTSD just thinking about it though, awful achievement for all involved.

yeah the real problem was that only a few people could get those pvp objectives per bg, so people needing the cheev had to re-q and re-q then pray and get lucky, and they’d ignore all the other objectives because of needing the cheev
So Arathi orphan is broken then. or just too scared of giant spiders to stay anything.
These quests legitimately are awful and won’t work

Well, looks like I’ll be skipping Children’s Week this year. Oh, well.
Make sure to take the Drill from the other zone were we first came to do quest line that is only way for it too register and you might see two npc one to the left is the right one…
Dornogal quests I had no issue with them…just the weave ones…

Does anyone know about how long it takes for the meta? I know it’s a mini holiday, shouldn’t be too bad right?
To do the full meta to get the mount takes a full year of doing all events completely…
