What does “sand ghosts” have to do with skimping out on the game?
If you saw a video on the dungeon, it would probably make you sad at the story potential that was just wasted lol.
A bunch of sandy NPCs fighting is the dungeon.
I was excited for Return to Karazhan and Mechagon, but this is probably the first one that doesn’t seem all that exciting. It’s telling.
Granted you’re still here and continuing to play, so that’s not an issue for you I’m certain.
So you didnt answer my question. At all.
“PVP player not excited about a PVE dungeon” isnt really a review I am worried about.
I used to PvE, when LFR didn’t exist and the only way to see it was PvE.
Since LFR, there is no purpose to getting better gear- you have access to everything anyone at a higher difficulty would.
It’s just higher difficulty for no reason other than numbers.
PvP has always been more dynamic, but all of their eggs are in the basket of hoping M+ players don’t burn themselves out doing the same 8 dungeons ad infinitum.
3rd party chat is used to get around WoW moderation.
In discord you can say anything you want no matter how vile or disgusting.
In Discord you can also make trade deals you have no intention of honoring.
Doing either of the above in in-game chat can and will get your account actioned.
They can put less money into the dungeons, give us this instead of a proper time-traveling dungeon.
There’s just less money and good content coming to WoW anymore, which makes sense, it’s almost 20 years old.
N’zoth died in a patch instead of having a whole Black Empire-themed expansion.
The Shadowlands, as well, just awful. PvP was good though, but I’m certainly glad I didn’t try the PvE.
I just don’t like wasted story potential, and mostly why I’ve just stopped engaging with PvE- the story was the reason for that.
LFR gives me all I need.
And soon, YouTube for all the lore while I’m no longer playing lol.
…what?
Can you please explain the gearing system for PVP.
Now once again. Will you please explain how having sand based NPCs means they are gimping content? I just watched a dungeon run through and there were barely any sand NPCs in it. Most were the infinite dragonflight.
Reused Garrison assets and static sand ghosts statically swinging at each other, aren’t you so excited to “go back in time?”
This stuff is designed 100% for you.
I recognize reused assets and lazy design, I guess not everyone does, and some enjoy it.
Yes that is one small aspect of the dungeon.
Congrats on finding a single screen shot and pretending its the entire dungeon.
As a PVP player you should be used to always playing in the same environment anyways. It obviously doesnt bother you.
I get it. as a PVP player you are just used to a small arena setting. But dungeons can actually be quite large and go beyond a single platform.
PvP is dynamic in terms of gameplay.
You’re gonna run this dungeon the exact same way until you’re in adult diapers.
It’ll be figured out on the day it releases.
Btw, I don’t play Arenas, because I hate them.
Battlegrounds are the most superior form of PvP. It’s a battle with two armies.
PvE cannot replicate that.
Is it really though?
Every time I watch the arena tournament, the announcers are constantly predicting what will happen 1 min, 2 min, etc into the future. And it happens.
Because PVP is not that dynamic in gameplay. What seems to make PVP most dynamic is when people are not very good at it.
Sucks, its meta as hell.
Probably still more different than watching Dungeon MDI though.
Both suffer from a meta but at least you can see some crazy outplays and mind games in PvP.
Not that I’d watch either- games should be played not watched.
BGs are the most fun thing and Blizzard does nothing with them.
People turned that mess off cuz heavy handed moderation and automated report system abuse.
See above reply
Lotsa folks went to DIablo 4
So PVP isnt dynamic. Just some specific game modes of PVP are dynamic?
A common theme on the boards is that people shouldnt try to emulate things seen in the MDI. Because those players are playing so well and doing crazy strats that do not apply to the “average” gamer.
Gosh do I have some news about return to kara
At least people enjoyed Kara.
This looks like Vortex Pinnacle
The only part of the dungeon that’s cool at all is Galakrond’s dead head, that’s it.
The world aspect to this game has been completely abolished.
Diablo 4, an ARPG, has deeper world content than World of Warcraft, a MMO-RPG.
They have it so backwards.
Does it matter? I never answered your questions in the first place, did I?
I’m not here to argue with Akston.
I’m here to vent my frustration at the typical waste of potential that inevitability comes to all Blizzard games.
The very reason why my hemisphere in WoW is dead right now.
I’m sure D4 is next, when the seasonal stuff rolls out.
People come here all the time begging for it to be that way so blame them.
