just to understand here cause it’s not clear, do you have to buy something for classic to get this mount in regular wow? I bought the LE packs from BC onward and now I have to repurchase wow classic to get another limited mount here?
You just log into a wrath server with no queue make a death knight and play up to the point where you talk to your faction cities leader and done. Then in retail poof you have the mount account wide 
Fresh servers are excluded tho.

I played DK on live realm back then, and I’m currently installing WoW WOTLK Classic and logged in the game and so far there is no DK creation option.
I read that it says first DK is free of restriction, however, I am not sure it is because I have not fully install the game or do I need a level 55 character to be able to make a DK.
I am just tryin to do this quest and get the mount!

Proto drakes are one of the mount models I don’t have for some reason. Finally!
hmm… so I’ve completed Warchief’s Blessing, but no mount or achievement. What am I missing?

Seems awfully backwards to offer something you need to do in Classic and be rewarded in Retail. Then pay for an upgrade to Classic and get a stupid kite. If you want to attract new players to Classic or back, you should’ve awarded that DK Frostwyrm to Classic players and not Retail. What an oversight…but…it’s Blizz.
Its somewhat of a shame that the money talks and RETAIL walks…all this new stuff for a resale of the original under somewhat different genre… so all the people with 18 years into this game or so have to acquiesce to the old content once again to get their new mounts etc… nice marketing move on blizz part but sucks to be a long term player… we get crap shadowland and a dragonflight expac… which i hear isnt doing that well anyway…Chargeeeeee…
I have done the quests, when and where does the mount show up?
If you finished the DK starter zone entirely through the battle at Light’s Hope, then the mount will be waiting for you in retail. I’ve heard it may take a little time for it to show up for some people. Also try exiting the game, delete your cache folder and log back in.
