Beautiful Pictures of World of Warcraft

Hmmm, I don’t remember an open ceiling in Temple of the Moon. Ah, whatever.

I can take pics in the game?

Will have to google how.

I could be wrong!

Just hit screenshot. Alt + z to toggle the UI display.

They go into their own folder, under retail.

Thank you. Will try when I get into the game.

If you don’t mind, where is the retail folder located?

I am not worthy to post pictures, as many of us aren’t… I guess I can’t trigger ptsd issues from MoP patch day and show off artwork :frowning:

Depends on which drive you have it on.

Mine is D:\Program Files\World of Warcraft_retail_

C drive usually installs as C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft_retail_

You can post links to the images by adding a ` (tilde) on each end of it.

http:/www.blizzard.com

They won’t be hyperlinks but we can click and drag.

Mute! You are so awesome! Thank you for offering all that lovely advice to people. You managed to do it before I could…so have a pickle! :cucumber:

(It’s only a cucumber, I know, but I’m imaging it as being a pickle.)

Let’s see what picture we have for today… runs off to look through her screenshots

So this was taken way back in February of 2006, before the Shrine to Uther the Lightbringer was changed. If you did the recent Harvest Festival quests this year, you’ll notice it looks a lot different these days, but you can still go and check it out in Classic and see it in all its glory.

Yo that’s pretty amazing, as an OCE player who only plays on the evening I’ve never seen this as our day/night cycles are broken. That’s really cool though, didn’t realise how much we were missing out on.

Mute, your avatar looks so much like Elvira, mistress of the dark.

Pandaria is still one of the most beautiful continents in the game imo. Really loved the aesthetic of that expansion (except Dread Wastes, eww)

When WoW finally dies, because no game can rule forever, this old bull will retire in Highmountain so that he can forever see that view. There are many beautiful places in this game, but they usually end up being a bit more whimsical. The Highmountain sky feels so much more realistic, and it never fails to make me smile.

If you ever get the chance, maybe a weekend morning or whenever the game is at night for you, I 100% recommend just flying through Highmountain with the music on and that sky above you. It might not be for everyone, but I find it incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
