They are drowned at birth. It’s tricky to tell if a baby will grow up to be beardless but the dwarves are usually 85% right.

Personally I’m of the Old School philosophy, where beards are a central part of Dwarven culture, where even Dwarf women have beards, and the only Dwarves who have no beards are the very young and criminals who had their beards shorn off to display their disgrace for all to see

Despite maining a dwarf, I would make a horrible dwarf irl. I can’t stand the heat of the forge and don’t have good beard genetics :frowning:
