Why is Bear druid T1 the only T1 with 0+hit?
bears are structured around crits/dodges… and yet none of these stats are on the T1

Blizzard hates Druids. Pretty clear with how much we’ve been overlooked and ignored in SoD.

I’m not even a bear main, I main Cat. But Bear design is comically overlooked
Mangle and Lacerate were on the same rune slot for multiple phases before they even realized it, even despite TONS of people asking how the heck it was that overlooked
It’s hilariously bad, but also - what the hell else were they supposed to do with two different sets of gear for the same spec? Gotta make it different somehow.
Probably should have just made one feral set, combined the set bonuses, and called it a day.
Cat is extremely laughable too.
Mangle nerf at the end of p1 for no reason at all, just makes doing world content harder and makes the skill which hit like a wet noodle in PvP even worse.
Moved skull bash to mangle slot so the entire idea of “you can now interrupt as a feral Druid” is just gone, cuz there is no possible way you can give up mangle.
P4 basically every class got important runes turned into skill books and replaced with new runes so they could have more rune variety. Not Druids.
Skull bash needs to be a book not a rune, and it needs to modify feral charge to have no minimum distance, with a lowered cd and be usable in cat, not be a completely different and entirely useless ability.
Wild Strikes needs to be a book so bear can wear SotF as a tank without trolling the entire raid group.
Cats need a combo point spender as a new rune for the chest slot as we currently have no spammable spender. Rip+SR both last around 30 seconds and FB is not worth using over shred.
Rogues have been given the ability to ignore being behind people since p1, with mutilate, and now in p4 just backstab can straight up be used anywhere. Shred is still miserable to use. The mangle debuff should add the ability for shred to be used from any position.
Edit: also MAKE ENTANGLE WORK INSIDE FFS.
Edit 2: also cat swipe is still broken, if you Crit something that isn’t your main target you don’t get any combo points.

Here’s what I’m getting:
Are you positive it’s broken or is your main hit a miss/dodge/parry? The rest of the spell still goes off if you get a miss/dodge/parry so you can sometimes get 0 combo points on your target
I’ve had times where I didn’t get a combo point for like 6 swipes in a row and I have to mangle to keep sr up.
but really… what the F*** is the deal with our Bear T1… literally the only non healer T1 to have 0+hit… none from talents… none from T1… none from runes… umm hello?
Not to mention Bears are built to work off crit/dodges… yet NONE of these stats are on our T1?

T1 is for the cats and trees.
The offset things we can get offload a lot of problems later on.

The reason is they hate druids.
It’s why I quit a while back. SoD ain’t special. I can play any version of Classic and get dumped on as a druid.

I’ve posted on this exact same topic, it is absolutely wild that druid tank set is the only set with ZERO other stats and only defense. Which by the way bear benefits the least out of every other tank as we cannot block/parry. Having to feel bad about deciding between cat gear/bear gear because my tank gear actively works against me trying to get hit.
Also, mangle not having a threat modifier still feels horrible, having to delay getting my resolve because I need to build threat is so backwards and just adds to the demotivating feeling of playing bear. And swipe hits like a wet noodle the warlock I tank with breaths next to mobs and holds them comfortably.
Finally, and I’ll never stop saying this, please for the love of bear make wild strikes a spell book Druids simply bring, I feel bad for running my actual tank rune because blizz put so much power behind wild strikes then went and put it next to our tank rune.
I’ve absolutely loved SOD and I don’t want to stop and I look toward to a real classic plus. But the state of bear currently just really makes me not look forward to logging in. I’ve put so much time in my druid but I’m really considering simply rerolling to any other tank.
Warriors charge ability has a minimum range of 8yards by the way

I’ll have to keep running my .5 chest, an old ring with hit and pass on clearly re itemized stuff made for tanking in SOD that I’d love to use and take stuff that’s BIS for dps just to achieve hit, not to even mention like you said earlier the lack of dodge or agility on anything.
Warriors “only” got meathook and a 2 hour raid wide shout stronger than any world buff.
