Be strong enough to be gentle

They’re not always at home. Sometimes they’re on patrol or just wandering about.

This message was to the people who play this game not about the game itself.

What inspires sometime to voice Optimus Prime, probably doesn’t translate well to the current hell that is modern day.

Doesn’t mean it should not be attempted. If I can make one persons day brighter whoever it is then it was worth it.

I’m pretty sure it was colonel sanders who said “ I’m too drunk to taste this chicken”

It’s a very complex situation to need other people to give us validation. Said individual states that hating other people gives them purpose and making others miserable gives them satisfaction. Those are bold self admissions, if they are true.

We see that the hate merely drives to them isolating oneself (removing their targets via group kick). And making others ‘miserable’ exercising this methodology is questionable at best, because people can easily just log alts & the continually ignore and avoid this player moving into the future.

I don’t believe, unless I’m missing some portion of the story or formula, it achieves the grander outcome of making anyone quit the game. It appears all the said hate filled person is doing, is trying to find validation by inadvertantly helping those they least like. Kind of akin to how a bee or wasp that’s most definitely going to be a problem, looks and acts like a problem way before any real confrontations arise.

So. Anyways, the moral of this TED talk is: Even the best and or worst aligned intentions rarely play out how we originally intend them.

My capacity for genuine forgiveness tends to reach as far as my read of a person’s capacity for empathy.

Beyond that beyond that point, I fear my attempts at forgiveness start to become passive-aggressiveness.

This doesn’t work in practice. You cannot expect others to stand up for you if you will not even stand up for yourself. No one is going to be a bigger advocate for your own well-being then yourself.

And the more you stand up for yourself, the easier it becomes to stand up for others. They go hand in hand.

lol no one on this forum would last 2 days in an East German interrogation .

All people are weak. The Bible says “ all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god”. Humans are weak creatures of flesh. Human agency is a myth. We believe we have free will only at our own insistence. Any notion to the contrary is too disturbing for the average person. You think the Jews had any choice to be exterminated ? Hell, most Germans had no real choice in what they did .

There is nothing sexier than a strong person with a gentle touch.

Seriously, just exist like that, and people will come to you ahaha.

It is inherently attractive.

But yelling at people is more fun

You got the touch.

You got the power!

Yeeeeeeeeeeaaa!

I like to call old people and yell at them. Most of em are already confused to begin with. Screaming at them about the water ban just blows their minds.

I know all this because I live 2 doors down. I watch them from my porch after I hang up.
