What a copout response. I’m literally playing the game as it is and I’m not trying to change anything. But the game is spiralling out of control.
It’s actually because of changes this problem exists. Collapsing layers during off-times and allowing bots to run completely unchecked (both Blizzard created problems) has created such a severe supply/demand issue that legitimate players cannot play the game anymore at competitive levels without buying gold. Your solution is “just don’t play competitively”… This is a stupid response.
This has nothing to do with zoom zoom crap mentality. I’m probably closer to a Boomer than you are and I’ve only ever played Vanilla since 2004.
the whole point of layers is to collapse them if players aren’t around to fill em do you realize that layer hopping is NOT encouraged by blizzard? they don’t want you to do it. so they’re certainly not going to entice it by leaving a bunch of empty layers open.
You already know that if Blizzard do what they ask with keeping empty layer opens. The next morning, Reddit and forums will be flooded with post like : OMG BOTTING MAFIA LAYER ABUSING AND STEALING ALL THE LOTUS ON THE 10 EMPTY LAYERS! BLIZZARD DO SOMETHING. It’s a lost cause
even if they are empty, who cares. the server needs an off peak window. having layers constantly be at max population is stupid. that is something no one asked for.
sounds like u want world of fortnite, just mail me all the gear and consumes so i can login once per week to compete vs people in molten core
this is completely the opposite of how mmos are suppose to be played
it seems like anniversary guilds are more interested on flexing on people who don’t care than actually playing and to do that they have to clone the top guilds in the world even when they are average but they are absolutely not interested in playing the game more to compete so they make this “i have to swipe” stuff as a cope
Its strange that they can find the time to level multiple 60s, mostly in the 150~ hour range per character, but when they have to farm 5-6 hours for every raid consume in the game per week, not interested. Next week these same players will go into a 40 hr/week ranking grind. Either get r14 or you can’t compete right? so you have that 40 hours to spare somehow when it comes to gear, but you don’t have it to farm, so you are forced to buy gold
Bots are unchecked because you nerds can’t stop yourself from buying gold. Again, another player created problem.
Nobody cares about parses but the dumb people sweating over parses. That’s a you problem and you absolutely do not have to participate in that madness.
Not sure what age has to do anything but I guess you think I’m calling you a Zoomer. Boomer checks out if that’s the case.

AH pricing is set by the player base. Supply and demand. Basic economics.
Increasing the supply may not fix the problem if the problem is on the demand side of things.
Right now the demand for flasks is way higher than it should be, because people have somehow convinced everyone that everyone needs to be fully flasked for every raid all the time.
This is a player made problem. Stop requiring your guild raids to be fully flasked for raids your guild has on farm, and your raiders will save themselves all that gold.

I don’t have a level 60 on classic. The two I am currently playing are both level 22 Horde logged out in Redridge Mountains to do low level PvP (not twinks either) for fun.
That doesn’t mean I cannot have an opinion on Classic. I raided vanilla. I didn’t clear BWL but my server had almost no Horde guilds that did anyway.
My bad I thought this was the wow forums, where contextually you should probably play the game you talk about. At level 23 you don’t play the game, if you post on a 23 to hide your main, you’re a coward. Super simple line of thinking.
