So is this just a thing now? There are SO MANY posts about wow failing on big surs, so this kind of issue has obv been going on for a while. I did all the trouble shooting advised by wow and in the forums and it still won’t install, so if anyone has any advice I’m all ears!

ey hi so you are still on Big Sur?
im on catalina and I don’t know if Big Sur would improve wow performance, which is low in some shadowlands zones.
Unlikely you will see an improvement.
WoW has be a slog for all concerned. Lots of GPU related issues that Blizzard can’t fix, only mask. So the solution has been to reduce all your settings until you get to a happy place. Some areas will never reach that happy place.
