Battlegrounds just a dumb idea anymore?

OP has 2k bg games played. ??? This might be a troll thread :upside_down_face:

Yup. My complaint since I started playing in MoP. Giving gear advantage to players that live in PVP 24/7 kills the game. They could be rewarded with PVE gear, but PVP should all have exactly the same gear level, so that it comes down to only skill and teamwork. Also, giving Rogues and Pally’s a stun that lasts 7 seconds and doesn’t break with damage is just poor game design. Being sapped and sitting there for like 7 seconds because you know the next blow is Cheap Shot and you will need your trinket for that, and then another sap for like 5 seconds while you go grab another cup of coffee, then finally the attack, Cheap Shot, stab, stab, stab, Kidney Shot, Stunned for another 7 seconds, stab, stab, stab (probably have about 12 different DoT spells on me by this time) and probably dead if I’m not a Shadow Priest. If I’m a Priest I can disperse for a few seconds during this assault and delay my trip the graveyard for five more seconds. Three seconds stunned is an eternity when two or three people are hitting you. Stuns in PVP should be less 3 seconds, 2 seconds, 1 second, immune… It’s just too powerful. Remove the gear advantage, nerf the stuns and you might have a real game here. I only do PVP as an extra opportunity to gear up. Other than that, it’s really no fun at all. If I was running content I would unwind all the last ten years of leveling, bring it back to the beginning, nerf everything, make world PVP the default setting and give 100% experience bonus for leaving it turned on to force people to experience PVP a little. Removing all the leveling would open up all the old content and make it so you could replay areas we haven’t visited in ten years. Also, I would maybe upgrade the graphics. It’s time to update and get rid of the play-doh hair.

Took a look at your profile for your dk.

You have some interesting choices, not saying bad… just saying they’re not optimal.

I would address your runeforge choices and which hand, imo Fallen Crusader should go in the main hand, so you get more procs. That will help with your surviablity.

Medallion and Icebound fortitude both break stun.
AMS when applied on time, stops sheep and fear.
Wraith Walk negates snare.

Frost DK isn’t too bad off as far as cc-breaks go.

Playstyle is also a huge factor.
Yes Frost DK’s wear plate, however with they are built right now… they’re a team support class, not a jump in the middle of the melee ball class (although with good healers, they can).
Use tactics over brawn… a well timed death grip can win a Warsong Gulch
