Battleground Holidays and Realm Adjustments – March 10

Coulda just made all NA servers Blizzard time. For that matter, make up a time. Call it Azeroth time zone.

Yeah I don’t get why this small problem needed a tactical nuke to solve.

Just played a game that was 10v6 until 2-0. Not fun for anyone

I have unsubscribed due to this change. Unless they change this so that the battlegroups for under 60 can continue to play in the same group then i am not going to subscribe again.

Revert this incredibly unnecessary change. You talk about wanting to make the WoW experience great for everyone. I think this thread speaks for itself when we say there is a large playerbase that doesnt want to only play 60 PvP. This change has made it very difficult to get into a battleground and when you finally do its lopsided. Either 5v10 or I have to make a 10man premade to even get a que to pop and that’s not fun for us or the players we are playing against. Which then causes the opposing faction to not reque killing ques for the remainder of the night. Please revert this change ASAP

At least Activision is sharing the same position as Blizzard always did by completely ignoring the twinking community. Maybe when tons of Oceanic and US West players unsubb (in my case and many others we will be unsubbing multiple accounts) because the only thing we care about in WOW is twinking, then they might throw us a bone.

Potentially I see this BG split as a ploy to boost character transfer sales - wouldn’t surprise me much tbh seeing as they did this in the past with a guise to please the twinking community when the offered turning xp off in retail and seperating us from the regular queues meaning we all had to xfer to one battlegroup.

Activblizzard never have and never will give a f about twinking ever since their customer base mostly plays end game.

Someone I know (east) went from instant queue to over 15 minutes for a game today in 20s bracket. Stop disrespecting/wasting our time.

*inb4 others have worse queues. Yes, I know, but 15 minutes added to every game really adds up. It’s bull.

The ball is in your court, Blizzard. An entire community has left you with a choice: hear our voice and revert the changes for non-60s or disappoint an entire healthy community by making this aspect of the game nearly unplayable.

We’re still waiting for a response.

WE WANT ANSWERS NOW
WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED?
Answer me

I’ve been in queue for 30 minutes. Not enough people queuing to make one game. You have made sub-60 bgs unplayable.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER AN HOUR ON MY 39 FOR WSG AND AB AND I AM PISSED OFF ABOUT IT.
RESPOND TO US NOW.
This isnt even fun anymore.

Great follow up on this thread, Kaivax!

Bump.

If Twinking dies yet another time… Another piece of my soul will die with it…

I hope you wont force that aspect upon me so early. But have doubts it makes a difference to Acti-bungle.

Let’s keep pushing for an amendment or compromise to the splitting of the NA playerbase into battlegroups. The Dev team works for us the people, or the company will ultimately perish. Passionate players can make things happen. We need to realistically look at the modern situation and apply changes appropriately. An already-small and inevitably-shrinking playerbase was devastatingly cut in half, without a warning or chance of a voice.
Amend this battlegroup change, or allow a compromise of non-holiday weekends to be combined into one battlegroup again. Anything is possible in the technological world with enough innovation.

Something must be done

ITT: there’s not enough 10-59 twink players to split the base into two groups–it’s dead. I’m quitting until this is changed; speak with your wallets.

Don’t think they’re going to cave for one tiny part of the playerbase. If being split killed it, it doesn’t seem very sustainable.
