@op while I understand you wanting to gear up. Other people are trying to push rating, so the heals that are going towards you (due to low gear), normally would be going towards other people. To me its like going to a restaurant that closes in 5 min and stating “well technically you are open”. I mean your right, but it’s still a dick move.

Other day I joined a game in the 1700s, other team had a Healer that was 2400 with his buddy that was 0cr. BGB aka Battleground Boosting lol.

Yeah, so unfortunately I’m on the angry peoples side. How often I’m fully geared and I get a blitz match where the healers are in pve greens is insane. Blitz imo is not worth trying to push. go solo cuz if u go under geared ur at least doing ur team a favor of eliminating you when it rotates teams.
Plus its a good way to train for ur class on your response time.

On one hand, being full honor, starting your rated journey is fine. You are starting out 0-1500 rating, can’t expect players to farm a full conquest set before entering at 0 rating.
At the same time, my 8th alt shouldn’t be playing with people at 1800 CR who have 100+ games. (Sorry Snowcrest you got paired with my mage yesterday)

Actually you pretty much can. from level 70-75 you can farm world quests in world pvp for blood tokens. Thats what I did.

There’s definitely a quick gearing path that lazy players don’t take. Even with conquest boxes being available. It’s almost better to farm on your main or as you say do it outside of rated.
Blitz MMR is so random that placement games are ruining the push of some fully decked out players, because my mage with half honor gear and couple bloody token gear gets put with them.

We shouldn’t be expecting players to be fully geared before they hit max level. If the player meets the minimum ilvl than they have every right to queue up.
I’ll take an honor geared competent player over a full conquest mongaloid any day.

As I’ve improved in rating I’ve seen less toxicity. Even losing bad, most people just say “gg go again”.
M+ is way way way worse, especially when you factor in all the Ragnaros, QT or Azralon players who just leave a key after the first wipe or even their first death.

I saw that.
I do occasionally get placed into what looks like other players’ placement games. But I heard starting MMR for fresh toons is around 1800 now, so I guess it makes sense if someone like me normally plays between 1700-1900.
At least that’s my theory. It’s either that or maybe there aren’t placements anymore.

Report the bad behavior. Blizz works on reports.
Then sometimes you’ll see the internet tough guys here on the forums do the manly crocodile tear thingy about how all the ‘softies’ made 'em cry and Blizz gave them a game vacation and it’s just soo unfair and how the new generation is just so weak and back in their day something something something…/whoKnows

They work on banning people who are falsely reported. That’s it. People are getting 2 week to 6 month bans for talking in-game, and making suggestions/strategy, but yet there are 3rd party websites that haven’t had their hardware banned yet lol

If you’re curious how it works, check in Customer Support some time. There are a 1000 Blue posts covering how Blizz actually does it, what the current procedures are and all that. If you don’t wanna wade thrugh make a post and ask exactly how it all works.
It’s pretty easy, frankly, for most grown adults. Just have some self control in a game with children and you golden. Easy peasy.

I don’t need to read customer support or blue posts that are filled with literal lies. Just because we see a blue post doesn’t automatically make it the truth. The blue posters are absolute liars, and they definitely ban people who are falsely reported. I know 3 people that were permanently banned for talking in battlegrounds telling other people where to go and what bases the capture next, and telling who to go where, in order to co-ordinate an effort to win. I apologize if you were harmed mentally in-game by someone telling you how to play when you aren’t playing properly, but that’s just too bad.

I made a druid on Moon Guard. An alliance druid. AM I DIRTY??! (I’m serious I really did, and it’s fun).
Moon Guard is pretty busy. It’s Trade chat is the busiest in all of wow. Welcome aboard.
Honestly, MG is so busy sometimes SW lags out. RP servers have different sharding rules in main cities for RP reasons. There have been times the game was unplyable because so many people in such a small area. I wouldn’t be surprised at some point if the server gets locked for a time. But hopefully that doesn’t happen.
Yeah, started playing Ret again after finally dying to one on my hunter. With 2 wins and 4 loses in Solo arena I have 1500 MMR. That’s not too strange. What is strange, I noticed in at least one match I was second from the top in damage, wearing 3 peices of conquest gear, the rest bloodly token or honor gear, but I gem and enchant everything as soon as I can. I still feel perpetually slowed, but what little the Devs improved on is indeed improved.
Can you party with me tomorrow on a new character? I need someone to help me get to like lvl 25 or 30 real quick. I’ll be on in the evening for a couple hours. I just wanna run some dungeons. Moon Guard seriously still lags out after all of these years? They should be fixing junk like that by now it’s 2024. What other realms are connected to MG?
