Battle for Ashenvale - No reputation gained for leaders past revered

So make your own premade if you want to be competitive and avoid teaming with people who only want rep?

I do get it though.

Sucks when the other team caps and half your side just stops trying.

Nooo you’re gonna have to pvp for the pvp rep! ugh, and kill enemies for honor? teh horror!

I don’t always want to have to go make a full premade just to be able to enjoy wsg though, sometimes I just want to queue with 2-3 friends in a small group and still be able to enjoy the bg without people complaining that it’s going for over 20 minutes

Only 10k more rep before I can leave Ashenvale for good!

Could you make leaders give honor then?
Or was the design intent for this content to die after 2 weeks?

After you finish farming the bosses you can go after the enemy team for honor, they’ve been giving honor this entire time, maybe…defend? kill them on the road? even after the event there are a lot of flagged enemies to take out.

AShenvale has to compete with WSG or it becomes dead content right? If WSG is the only rep and guarenteed honor then Ashenvale awarding little to no honor if your defense team is too low is not worth the time spent.

Since only revered players would bother defending good luck getting people to do that.

yeah, most people also don’t actually enjoy mass pvp if the run back is 2 minutes, becasue if you’re a melee, you’re almost certainly gonna die instantly. Hurts doubly so that you don’t get any honor while dead, so the incentive is to just sit back and afk while your casters spam aoes and tag stuff for you

if thats the case, they should just make exalted rep with them on character creation

kill players in a pvp event? dude, you cray cray :expressionless:

The most fun part of ashenvale was when alliance invaded us and we wiped them, or better when they wiped us and we regrouped and wiped them back.

But the event’s not designed in a way that encourages that too much. (because at the end of the day it really is all about the rewards)

The event is almost designed to keep us separate. Other than attempting to wipe the other group on a boss, there’s zero reason to engage in PVP.

At revered, there’s really zero reason to do it at all, since it’s a PVE zerg and not really PVP at all.

This.

Back in the day WSG was the last rep you got to exalted and being able to do it this fast… I guess we’ll hit Exalted in a day when AV comes out.

Should still give rep. Or make a solo queue for wsg problem that throws alot of people of from wsg is premades and will all know it.

They need to make AV a level 10-60 BG.

Ooooo… Ummmm… Oh my.

Because that’s totally how every other battleground and in game zone with pvp objectives works, right? (As opposed to the objectives themselves awarding honor!)

Good to know Blizzard hasn’t changed. Fun Detected. Fun Destroyed.

What?

WSG is WAY easier to get to exalted than AB.

I usually would be able to be exalted 2+times in wsg by the time I get exalted in AB
