The argument lost it’s merit when no other classes in the game is subjected to such antique limitation, which is even more awkward given how the game has evolved throughout these years.
We not asking to have every pet utility available at all times, but one should realize that ‘do i bring an interrupt or not’ is NOT a ‘player’s choice’ for the modern game.
And like i have mentioned countless times - we already have a near-perfect solution sitting right in front of us. They just need to do that extra bit of work to solve our aging complaint once and for all.
Here’s the irony - This pet switching issue wasn’t even that troublesome or annoying before Legion.
Demonology used to have Fel Domination which is great for quick swapping or rezzing a dead pet.
Destruction has a lesser version, but Flames of Xoroth was fitting thematically.
Affliction got the best deal: Soulburn mechanic, which gives Soul Shard a new dimension of utility which really improves the class as a whole.
Given how all warlocks have move to Soul Shard system, Soulburn and it’s related mechanics would have been truly great for the class. But instead they axed all that and forcing us back to manual summoning.
