Did your argument get shut down so fast that you’ve resorted back to behaving like a forum bully accusing others of being miserable?
Let’s go back to discussing WoW economics if you have any actual knowledge on the topic

How about let people play and make gold how they want? Why does what I do ruin your experience? I certainty dont tell you how to play.
did you already forget what you said? i offered you another alternative to what you were speaking off but i guess you just couldnt comprehend.
no your the moron that wants to do thing the most efficient way possible even to the detriment of your gaming experience. I.E. you make yourself miserable by doing the things you do that is all.
Where are you even getting this from? Nowhere did I even say I do incursions. They’re trash. You know nothing about my gaming experience, but you sure talk like you do. Can you think of no other word than accusing my experience of being miserable for the 3rd time?
You’re the one sarcastically bragging about how you’ve made thousands of gold from alchemy, as if it gives you some kind of credibility to tell others what to do. Let’s discuss that.
where did i say you do incursions? i didn’t. i said your a meta slave who only wants to do the most efficient thing but since its boring you come here and complain on the forums.
you dont know how much the mojos were going for the first couple weeks of the phase do you LOL
You’ve implied it enough, don’t back down now. I said some of the methods you listed are trash compared to incursions. That has nothing to do with the meta. Since Phase 1, I’ve had more gold than I can spend for the rest of SoD. I don’t care for incursions or any of what you listed.
You tell others to do alchemy, and then bring up a situation that can’t be replicated? Just stop if you don’t know what you’re talking about.
And TBH, WoW doesn’t really have “whales.” (Yes, they exist. But they’re super rare. Often, they’re the “hardcore casual” type who literally don’t set foot in raids.)
What seems to be the disconnect here, Blizzard stated that GDKPs were causing casual players to feel pressured to RMT – just to play the game casually. This was stated when the WoW token was added to WOTLK, and it came with massive gold increases to daily quests. They didn’t ban GDKPs because it’s a common loot method that many people liked. However, it was apparent that RMT for the sake of GDKP was happening, and SOD was the proper place to change the policy on GDKPs because it was against the spirit of the game mode.
What GDKP supporters overlook is the casual experience. Ya’ll fixate on the idea that “if you’re bad at WoW, then you should you pay me to carry you.” This is how games truly die – the casual experience is miserable. SOD isn’t dying from the lack of GDKPs, it’s dying because the casual experience isn’t good right now.
In short, there’s virtually no reason to log in right now. Everyone has been raid logging. So the game feels dead. And with the delay of Phase 4, it will continue to bleed players because the casual experience is bad.
Blizzard already stated that GDKPs were detrimental to the casual experience. (Things cost too much, like consumables, enchants, flying [WOTLK].) And GDKPs won’t fix that. GDKPs make it worse.
You had me until this.
The ignorance surrounding GDKPs is truly astounding. You’re describing boosting and carry services, not GDKPs.
Anyway, I do see some value in protecting the casual experience, so here’s an alternative to the GDKP ban that Blizzard has applied in real versions of the game:
Retail successfully banned the sales of services from trade chat and created a separate channel specifically for that purpose. It would have made a lot more sense if the same was done in SoD (or even ban GDKPs advertisements completely from all public channels) so that the regular channels and casuals don’t get overwhelmed by the popularity of GDKPs. This would have also made it much easier to apply to Classic Era and Cataclysm Classic without disrupting their social communities.
I think I miswrote this line. Moving the sentences around changed the meaning. My fault though. “Ya’ll” was meant to be about “my side” (people who don’t support GDKPs).
“We fixate on this idea that GDKP supporters are just gold-buyers or boosters.” – I don’t think this is true. I do mean that GDKP supporters often overlook the casual experience and how GDKPs are seen. “Wait, I can’t play because I don’t have enough gold?” (It’s fundamentally anti-casual, and even worse : it’s anti-new player.)
Yeah, here’s my post from earlier in the thread.
I think the GDKP pug scene is mostly toxic and I probably hate them more than anyone else because they’re the ones that I blame for really killing GDKP or why GDKPs are easily misunderstood.
To be honest, I sincerely dislike GDKPs as a whole. I’d rather Blizzard simply build the loot method in-game.
Sounds like some children having an issue to me.
Sorry your pretend lemonade stands dont make you money anymore.
P.S.
If your motivation for playing a game you own is to be paid for your time used you arent worth the time to know or even listen to.
The biggest copium take i have ever seen.
You could remove all the bots and rmt and gdkps would still be the best pug loot system.
Dkp with +/-1 is superior.
And for PUG runs?
Whatever they agree upon doing?
Except GDKP though, of course.
So that leaves MS>OS or some small variation of it.
Leading back the issues highlighted in my previous comment:
I’m in this boat, i have a few chars that only need a couple of items, instead of throwing myself at these raids and losing rolls to the multiple freshie chars on a weekly basis, I just don’t play that character anymore, or the game that much for that matter.
When progression is closed off, I lose interest.
This would lead me to believe that you have the understanding that your time is worth more than others using a measuring stick of your own creation.
This is false.
Its your choice to not play them, but you dont get to rant about not having gear when you dont want to try.
Hot take:
Loot council is the way.
Loot council is pretty good, when their friendless or the ones they have are already geared
Joking aside, its quite good.
