Ok, how do GDKPs harm you, if not for some form of direct or indirect inflation?
They incentize the AH gets taken over by bots and incentivizes that I only do GDKP runs or Iām going to severely fall behind everyone in gold.
Can you explain what these AH bots are doing?
Using illegal scripts to run characters, farm mats that arenāt human farmed, selling the mats on the AH. Unless WoW has allowed for botting(They havnāt.) This is an illegal practice and we should ALL be against it.
So are these AH bots still there on the SoD AH?
Thereās likely some for sure, but itās not nearly as heavy or propagated. The common player will just go do Nightmare Incursions as they make stupid amounts of gold even after several nerfs and players actually run the AH itself, not just bots. Which is fun, As I said Iāve personally used to farm Runecloth and sell it on the AH more then anyone on Lava Lash, I consistently got messages. <3 I had maybe 3000 Runecloth on the AH at a time. I did it while farming Revered Argent Dawn for the +10 Str food.
Nah theyāre still all over the AH which is why consumables remain cheap even though GDKPs are gone.
False. Wild Growth currently has potions that are going for 10g for one. Greater Arcane, and the easily farmable Winterspring pot is like 20g a post, maybe 15g on a good day. None of what you said is true.
The ACTUAL truth is, a lot of these pots have fallen in price because the good players are raid logging, and only using a single pot atm to down something they have on easy clear. Thatās why Mongoose and Giants fell. Again, youāre omitting info.
Okay, letās discuss Greater Arcane. Do you have no idea where the recipe comes from and how rare it is? The one thing that isnāt botted is expensive? What a surprise.
We can blame incursions for inflation lol. Iām sure plenty still RMT, but incursions ā¦ geezus.
Pretty sure itās 55+ Elite Mobs? Iāve gotten one to drop before in Winterspring? And? Iāve gotten a Crusader Enchant to drop too in EPL. LOL
I killed a pirate in Cata and he dropped me full t11.
Was insane.
??? Iām a 99 Parsing Ret Pally. Iām obviously a very good player in SoD. LMAO I literally have a bug full of these things and about 2.5kg without ever doing anything past friendly in incursions. XD Yes. I farm. I also have BOTH DMF Decks despite those going for like 4k a piece. lmao
Either way, the price of Greater Arcane Elixir is dictated by the few players who have the recipe, so I donāt see what this has to do with botting.
None of this makes sense, you do realize thatās a BoE recipe riiiight? A bot doesnāt need to farm it for himself to farm the mats, buy the recipe and sell what the recipe makes.
And again, the lower prices on most pots are more dictated by the fact barely anyone is wiping and only parsers are even using them anymore. lmao
So why did you bring up Greater Arcaneās high price and how does it relate to bots?
Because I never made the claim bots=low prices, you did. lmao
Looks like I need to refresh your memory. I said consumables remain cheap because the bots are still there. You brought up Greater Arcane as a ānuh uhā when it has nothing to do with bots.
Because I said prices arenāt cheap so your whole claim is fundamentally flawed. Not that bots canāt control it. But I brought up that potion and how bots CAN control it, and itās further proof that they donāt.
And again, people wouldāve thought -I- was a bot for a long time. I sat there grinding undead in WPL to collect Scourgestones to turn in all the way to Revered. LOL And I had 1k-3k Runecloth on the AH at a time. Iām living proof bots werenāt plaguing my markets, I can quite literally speak to them and the Runecloth market is one of the simplest.
My mistake. I didnāt realize you were trying to bring up hypotheticals into a real discussion.
So what items are bots selling and controlling thatās expensive?
