I just don’t understand what I did to have been considered botting. I invest way too much time in. I didn’t do anything i thought could be considered out of ToS and get me banned. Again if anybody can explain how an addon that uses the games API can be considered botting that would be great. I guess otherwise i am sitting until i get an actually ticket response with a conformation one way or the other. The ticket response was neither. And the CSR response also was neither.
There not gona tell you what got you flagged and i doubt it was a addon.

Its just annoying. I dont cheat to play the game and ill never get any answers. Just sitting here waiting for an indeterminate amount of time until i get any response so i can likely continue submitting appeals. Its a pretty disheartening thing to happen and literally makes me want to bot play the game at this point. I’ve spent too much time and effort to get what i have it thrown out by unknown means. I understand blizzard not giving out much information so the people that run businesses by botting and selling gold. But it wouldnt take a scientist to look at my character logs and know im not selling gold.
I came into the xpac with a goal iof gold capping myself and trying to get the long boy but i guess attempting to use addons to make things easier i somehow get banned with no warning ever issued to me or anything. IT just makes no sense. BUt obviously no help will come from the posting on the forums other than getting flamed by other people. So only time will tell if blizzard actually responds or continues to copy/paste these “templates” in hopes i just spend more money and buy the game again.
Apeals are sitting at a week i believe.
Not to be crass OP but no amount of trying to plead your innocence is going to be able to change anything.
Since you have an appeal, all you can do now is wait to see if your punishment was upheld or applied in error.

No matter how much you claim you didnt, you used something to try to facilitate your gold making venture. You used a bot and got caught homie, my guess is your appeal will be upheld.

Just FYI, there is no such thing as “crafting cartels” or “mass reporting”. Those are lies made up by people on reddit that got caught botting and had their accounts banned. As a sort of “revenge” they invented a false narrative to try to get people angry. That’s it. There is zero truth to anything they say.

Is it actually a week to get an appeal response? how do you know what the time frame is?
The last blue post to provide an update on appeals for account actions, stated that it was close to the 1-week mark, yes.

Literally going through this process myself up to day 5. Sorry about your loss, literally nobody here can do anything/assist in any way shape or form. Just put in your appeal, this place has no real solutions for these types of things.
Literally all you can do is put in your appeal, within 24 hours it will automatically send you a response saying we banned you because ToS, you need to reopen it straight away and hopefully the person reads what you said.

None of them are automated. If automated ticket is sent out, it would only be during hight ticket times and it will say “this is an automated reply, if you still need assistance please re-open this ticket”. You know for someone that is telling everyone how awful this forum is and how unhelpful it is, you sure don’t seem to want to take your own advice.
You are in every single thread up on the same soapbox spreading misinformation. You already know why you were banned and it was for using software to help you multibox. None of the threads that you have been posting in have to do with your issue.

Here’s my story.
Last week my main wow#1 account got banned for reputation exploit but the only thing i did is just finished the whole questline and didnt even know about this reputation exploit.
After that i decided to create another wow#3 account to play while my wow#1 was banned.
Then my wow#3 got permanently closed for using cheats few d ago.
I tried to contact customer support but got a message:

I mean… i’m really frustrated and it feels unfair. I was just playing the game casually and got ban all of a sudden. And unfortunately there’s nothing you could do. What actually happens if u get randomly banned on your main account… this is really… frustrating…
Ugh feel this alot. Ive been waiting for days now to find out blizzards intentions with my main account bit nerve wracking. Truly sorry mate can also appericiate how frustrating the lack of information is.
