I get people actioned all the time for spam, it’s easier than getting bots banned.
I mean these kind of just come off as excuses to me. If a third party can cone up with a solution, surely blizzard can too.
sure . blizzard could just add in the bulletin board addon functionality to the game i suppose but is it worth it to do that when the addon already exists ?

You can download an addon or just separate the channels in your chat box to help slow them down

The ONLY part of this post that mentions professions, specifically points out using trade chat for professions.
It’s pretty clear, using trade chat for professions is allowed, and your reporting people who are using trade chat in the intended manner are going to do absolutely nothing.

“Lf enchanter” and also seeing enchanters advertising in trade where it’s allowed

Yes and how would someone seek out profession services in trade chat without advertising that you’re seeking professions services in trade chat?

You’re advertising that you’re looking for an enchanter. That’s advertising.

Well this took a hilarious turn. We’ve come full circle to “looking for an enchanter is okay in the trade channel because it’s a service but advertising enchanting in the trade channel isn’t okay because it’s a service.”
