Trade chat for the most part is used to talk to and communicate in wow has been for as long as I can remember. The issue I have is the constant nonstop spam of enchanters saying hey I have the most basic enchants that are easy for given to you thru TBC buy my enchant its annoying so annoying i starting reporting for spam. In the last 2 and half weeks alone I have gotten tallied 382 thanks for reporting theyve been punished in my mail from blizzard since I starts reporting all those people in trade nonstop can we not have that for TBC
Why don’t you just download an addon to filter chat?
Why does everyone want parts of the game banned because you can’t separate your chat windows or have words muted
Do you guys still use flip phones too?
How dare people use trade for trade
Dude.
You can pry my Motorola outta my cold dead hand.
Sorry you can’t make bad faith arguments about politics in trade or lfg chat
That must be really difficult for you
…What about the services channel?
Made for selling such services.
Professions are trades
If you wanna talk about nonsense instead of using Trade for Trade then you could always type /join unemployed
Perfect channel for you
Enchanting is a profession. Professions go in trade.
Summons and boosts go in services
auto ban anyone who posts DST HR in trade
I saw a few brave man advertising strat boosts in general. Guess what I did?
Well if you made 5 lionheart helms, you could trade those.
But if you are just advertising that you can blacksmith… It’s a service.
It is a tradeskill, you got that part right.
Trade chat is for trading.
For advertising what you can make, craft, or enchant you must be in service channel or you will be banned.
Have a nice day spammer.
You do know you have to let people know you are selling the lionheart helms right?m
Communication is not a service
Just in case you might still be confused, trade is 1 for 1. You get helm, I get gold. Or I trade for something you crafted that I want.
A service is “Look at all the things I can do, pick what you want”
He said if you HAVE THEM TO SELL you can do it in trade.
If you don’t have one made, it’s a service and belongs in service channel.
Hope this helps for the people who can’t read.
If this was the case, the trade channel should
Be removed because under this logic, telling people you have stuff for sale is a service
It’s a good thing blizzard knows the difference and you don’t
No one cares how you feel.
The rule is, if it’s a physical trade for existing items you have in your bag you can do it in trade.
If it’s a service like crafting lionheart’s helm for mats from the buyer then it’s a service and can’t be advertised in trade.
You will be banned for advertising in the wrong channel
That’s what happens when you advertise professions
In order to make a trade you must communicate the trade is possible
This is the learning curve you are currently struggling with.
Once upon a time you were right.
Now?
Do I need to get the blue post?
