ye i have trouble justifying this. its like win-trading. getting hit once and then afk’ing out of arenas.

even though its lower mmr and in 2s, obviously no one cares but players get in trouble for it pushing r1

This is a hot take, but griefing low MMR 2s is a major thing killing new player interest in PVP and no one really talks about it because “2s don’t matter”

Blizzard has entirely different rules for the regular players and the tourney players, otherwise Cdew and Xaryu + others wouldn’t be playing rn.

I mean, it’s matchmaking manipulation. The way it’s meant to work is that you queue up and quickly get moved to where you’re meant to be (win roughly half your games) asap. Is it faster to lose 10 in a row so you can win 30 in a row for the purposes of gearing? Yes. Is it ruining matches for other people? Yeah, probably.
