Look I just want to wait and see what happens with Dragonfall, apparently they got some type of new UI and voice chat revamps. It might actually be kinda cool, they already pulled GW2 for the dragon mounts so they might take UI from other popular stuff into their revamp.
If they do end up banning links to outside platforms, it would in some crazy way reduce RMT because everytime I buy a gold boost, I won’t do it unless i’m in the discord with the people and people make their discord’s very fancy to appear good.
It’s a whole thing, that’s why Blizzard banned big communities that are cross-servers.
That was CRZ, and to a lesser degree, LFR with cross realm groups. When you can q up for anything solo, there is no need for communication with the community.
Which is why you’re basically pissing up a rope with this crusade.
Oh, and if you really were here 17 years ago, you would already be aware programs like Ventrillo, Team Speak, and Pow Wow were being used long before the first line of Discord’s code was written.

Your argument will read better if you change “please educate yourself” to “here are my reasons why”, as it will come across less hostile and more open to discourse.

The fact this thread is still happening and they are allowed to keep going despite their other threads got burnt is baffling. I have heard of people doing much less annoying or trollish things and getting smacked with the banhammer, so this is a marvel.
