Balance tanks and make dual spec

Do you understand just how many tweaks your talking about. I’ll use paladins as an example.

  1. they have no taunt.
  2. two of their talents only work on being crit. Tanks aren’t supposed to be crit.
  3. paladins would need a mana regeneration mechanic.
  4. paladin threat would need a severe bump up.
  5. paladins would need a gear set added to each raid tier designed for tanking.

Except they’ve already stated not.

By the way
For those of you all “balance tanks” fans
How do you plan yo account for the horde having 2 tanks and the alliance having 3?

What is a spec? I only know about hybrid’s and pure’s.

Bro, we got Shaman tanks!

Have one go tank rag and lemme know how it works for you.

pulls out bandages can alliance even use these on horde?

Maybe If they made a necromancer class, you could use a curse to make me an undead Shaman! Nothing I classic says that necromancy couldn’t be used on enemy players, aside from it not being implemented to begin with.

Goodness gracious, you sure told us.

No matter how you wish to invalidate the logical arguments here, the one who truly gets to say “No”, is blizzard.

And they have said “NO”.

The community can go back and forth all they wish. And posts like this, can continue being made. But the point of the project to start with, is for it to be unadulterated. If you do not know what the term “Vanilla” means, which isn’t just a reference to an ice cream flavor but also the below:

Can’t have it both ways. You can’t have “Vanilla” AND new content/progression etc. A “Vanilla” recreation, is exactly that.

Paladin tanks would be op. Just like TBC.
Paladin tanks were very op in PvP .

It is going to get much worse and likely never better.

This. We don’t need 30 people saying no. And yet, this thread will likely reach 200+ posts despite how irrelevant it is.

People who beg for dual spec don’t remember how expensive it was. At 1000g, dual spec was a luxury in wrath. In Classic, 1000g for dual spec would be ridiculous, and would fuel the Asian Aurological Horticulturalist problem we’re going to have. Of course you could just make it free… in which case, I believe the game you’re looking for is BfA

You’ve mistaken disagreement and being proven wrong with persecution. Very common problem with humans, actually.

Currently attempting to teach this to my teenage daughter; that one can have a debate without necessarily having an argument.

A debate is to find out what is right. An argument is to find out who is right.

If you agree to not take our more childish arguers as representative of our positions and culture, we will return the favor.

We are going back to vanilla not wotlk, plus how will you implement a new class and race into a game that never had them in the first place. the patch they are using is 1.12. For them to even implement this, they would have to rebuild the whole game up again. The issue is not with #nochange people. It is with people like you, you cant force something in the game that never had it in the first place.

To be fair I think she was talking about the majority of those who are interested in Classic.

While i suspect that even the majority of those will prefer Classic to BC/LK, it must be admitted that it is a greater chunk than of the modern playerbase.

No. There is already a product for you if you’re interested in a variety of tank options. It is called Battle for Azeroth. Check it out, it’s pretty good.

Balancing tanks would require Blizzard for more work than I think they want to do. It’s not just tweaking things, they would have to consider how it works within the raid itself.

Also I’ll add in, even if Blizzard did this. Do you honestly think one tank won’t be vastly preferred over the rest like how it is in retail? If your a warrior tank in retail, good luck getting a decent mythic+ group/high end raiding. If you say that’s not what your interested in, well good news Druids and I believe paladins can tank dungeons just fine.
