One of the requirements to unlock an alt color for the balance of power is to do a Mythic +5 or above. However, I have done a +5 and the alt color was not unlocked

Its a +15 key not +5
Right, but saying that, i have done a +30 too. Even have the transmog to prove it. Shouldnt that unlock the alt color too?
I was lazy and never did a +15 or higher on my alt druid back in Legion proper.
So can anyone confirm if you can actually unlock the Balance of Power artifact appearance from Mythic +15 or higher in Legion Remix?
Would like to know if it’s worth leveling up a Druid just so I can check that off the list.
I did a +30 in remix before finishing balance of power and got the tint and form

I’ve completed Balance of Power on my Legion Remix character. I’ve completed a +15 in Legion Remix. I don’t have access to the skin. I’ve gone so far as logging out of WoW and Bnet entirely, then logging back in and back on to see if anything changed. It did not.
Switch to the same class in Retail and see if it shows up. I’ve seen some people saying they didn’t get the tint option in Remix till they switched over to Retail.

Tried that, at least to my main who did most of my artifact work back in Legion. Since I had no better ideas, I also just tried 3 of my other Paladins. Nothing on any of them. Not via a transmog vendor, not in my list of available transmogs, under “Legion Artifacts”, or “Two-Handed Swords”, or “One-handed Swords” or “Shields.”
I did a +29, got the Timeworn Keystone Master achievement after finishing the Balance of Power questline, and it still won’t unlock the 3rd skin for me.

Same issue for me.
I tried level 5+(with my own key), 15+(with my own key), 30(Other’s key), and 40(Other’s key). It won’t unlock the 3rd color. So far, I only got 1st and 2nd colors of the “Blace of Power” series.
I hope this isnt the issue, why would it not detect the completion if you do it after finishing the questline?
But then again remix has been a bug-fest…

Same with me. Did balance of power received achievement and did +40 keystone, got the achievement and still unable to unlock new tint.
As is being discussed in this thread by me:
It’s probable that those who say they are getting it, are getting it because they have the +5 Mythic keystone achievement completed in retail, and those who aren’t getting it don’t. The way to disprove this theory would be if someone who hasn’t done a Mythic+5 or above in retail to get the achievement was able to get the associated tint strictly through completing Balance of Power and Timeworn Mythic Keystones in Legion Remix, and if someone with the Mythic+5 achievement in retail wasn’t able to get the tint.
If the theory holds, the question then becomes how this squares against Blizzard stating it was “obtainable in Legion Remix” when it in fact is not because it requires content outside of Legion Remix to obtain (a post by them which has since been deleted quietly, with no clarification), and whether or not the current situation is intentional.

HAVE blizzard gone on record saying this color tint isnt available in Remix? Because IIRC they said EVERYTHING except the Mage Tower and the PvP skins would be available
They haven’t so far as I’ve seen, but they’ve also deleted the post saying that it is, and that’s exactly what I’m wanting: them to say one way or the other.
I could say “go try to find the post where they say it was all available and see” but I’ll save you some time. Here’s a post where it was quoted:

Enough seems to be wrong with that post they made that they chose to delete it and not discuss it rather than clarify it.
Or it could be a mistake and it was accidentally deleted. Wouldn’t it be nice to know which?

But do you have credit for the Mythic +5 keystone or higher achievement in retail?
I have one of the dragonflight keystone hero achievements
Based on observable data, that’s why you have it. You completed the Keystone Master achievement awarded for timing a Mythic+5 in retail. So far that’s been the common link. Timeworn Keystone Mythics in Legion Remix are not counting to complete that achievement.
