Bait and switch with traders post

That is what was said about the Blizzard store that it would become a place of P2W…and to this day it hasn’t…none of the stuff sold in the Blizzard store can help you play better or stronger or beat the boss easier…same goes for stuff from Trading Post …there is nothing there that can give you a boost over another player to beat a Boss…all this P2W is nothing but stuff rattling around those folks brains as made up stuff.

Their name is literally shopcurrencyoverlay.

Grumpy cats always make me chuckle, cheers for that!

Weren’t class weapons also datamined that never say the light of day? People are really getting bent out of shape over something that might not happen. Wait for the confirmation rather than go off datamining.

Well i dont blame them… you know you can make more money with less people playing this way rather with more people the old way

This? It can still happen, but there has to be a time and place.

Well hunny if you think using real money to buy tokens to buy gold then use gold to fatten up some other guild bank to run you though for a maybe a chance at some gear makes you a Raider …more power too you…you know I haven’t been on any raid team in years but I do have a few AOTC titles and mounts…guess what I got them free with Perky Pugs …great group really…

What will be interesting to see however is if after the store tendies are released, will blizz alter the rate of acquisition and amount of in-game acquired tendies.

This topic is a bait and switch.

This right here is exactly what they are doing. They may even go a step further by increasing the cost of items in the Trading Post to further “sell their solution.”

Those assets are there and they will 100% be released eventually. Blizzard does not fully design assets to just not use them.

Look what they did this month, two mounts that cannot be purchased together with the 1000 monthly amount.

I noticed that. Sadly it’s just the beginning. They likely had this planned out from the start but it still sucks that this is (most likely) the route they are choosing to go. The Trading Post as it is now is a fun little bonus incentive to engage with other activities within the game. Soon it’ll be a game of whether or not you are willing to swipe your credit card.

It sounds like they’re putting the in-game store actually in the game, worst case scenario. I’m not getting dunked in lava over it.

Overall it just seemed too good to be true in the beginning. I mean we’ll see how they decide to go with it.

You ever heard of saving? and not spending all your coins before…oh that’s right you’ve got to have everything right away and can’t wait a few months to see if it rotates back in so you buy all the shinnies aka mog stuff…
