Baine should of killed Jaina

What of the ones running back to her side that were also gunned down?

Without jaina thrall and friends would have died to her father. Jaina is the only reason there is a horde. They owe her everything.

And for all her adult life trying to bring about peace. She was betrayed constantly.

They should have made out.

No, she’s been a huge target of the Horde forever. Not to mention she’s emotionally and mentally unstable. Not only should she not be that powerful of a caster due to that unstableness(read about that stuff in lore), but she should be having a lot of people after her. An agressive and unstable person does not last long in a war driven world like Azeroth. Which is why Jaina should of been dead sometime after the Orgrimmar “incident” in which she almost flooded it. And even then all of the events after that. Like the Dalaran purging. She should of been on trial for that. There’s multitudes of reasons why many people should be hunting her down but apparently she has plot armor and is one of the writers favorites so she sadly won’t die soon.

Actually in canon you’re not forced to participate in the war of thorns as a druid. Canonically, there are no Horde druids present fighting and killing their fellow druids. Sylvanas has Hamuul and the other druids carted off to Silithus to help repair the wound with the Earthen ring and Cenarion circle. Presumably it’s to get them out of the way because they wouldn’t support what she was doing. Just saying. There are rogues, shaman, warriors, hunters, mages, etc, but no druids. Plenty of Alliance druids trying to kill us though.

I didn’t feel so good about the silver hand splitting either, but our core loyalties remain. They have their flag and we have ours. And about wanting the real Horde back, so do I, where our methods and honor were compatible, but now these two things seem to be splitting into more radical versions of themselves, where you’re either loyal and trying to justify war, or honorable and a traitor

Only 1 forsaken was defecting. The rest where going back to sylvie or trying to shield thier living families.

And lest be honest. If the forsaken are actually free and not sylvies slaves. They can choose to leave if they please.

That doesn’t change the fact that I had to partake in that. I witnessed it as a player, because there was no divide due to rewards. I was forced to do this to partake in the story. It’s only fair the other side gets to as well.

Baine sees beyond the silly faction squabble and is trying to do the right thing. Thrall, Khadgar, etc did the same.

They owe her nothing. Baine repaid her by telling her about Garrosh’s attack on Theramore, which enabled her to save hundreds of civilians. The Horde also fought with Jaina to stop the Burning legion during the Third War. We killed the Lich King, Deathwing, Illidan, Kil’jaeden, and saved the entire planet a hundred times over. All debts have been repaid in full.

This thread reads like pigeons debating over their favorite day-time soap drama.

Here, my friend, I think we’ve reached the end of arguing semantics in the game and have come to the main issue of Blizzard’s really awful, one dimensional writing. And this is part of why I’m frustrated, I think. I want to feel faction loyalty, but all they’ve given me is a reason to agree with the Alliance and feel frustrated at THEM (the writers) rather than what’s going on in game. Does that make sense? I don’t know if I’m explaining my thoughts well here…

Why didn’t Baine care about doing the right thing when Horde lives were dying to Sylvanas?

Why does Baine only care about doing the right thing when he gets to kill fellow Horde citizens?

cos he’s more loyal to jaina than he’ll ever be to the horde.

If you’re agreeing with the Alliance then you’re really an Alliance player then. Don’t be Horde if you don’t have actual Horde value, ideas and loyalty.

In all honesty, they are the real reasons the story is so , so pathetic. Getting stuck into FFXIV’s story for a good two months has shown just how superior they are at telling a story as compared to what Blizz’s writers like to vomit up.

Sure, it doesn’t, but lore-wise you can at least be happy about the fact that technically, your character didn’t actually take part in the war of thorns. You were in Silithus smoking peace pipes with Hamuul and trying to save the world! You weren’t even there. The night elves in Silithus aren’t even mad!

I can’t say the same about not being forced to help Baine and help Saurfang kill dark rangers. That’s inarguable canon I can’t worm my way out of no matter how hard I try.
