Do you have any actual source on this? It does a lot more damage but I really doubt they tuned plate classes specifically around the axe.

Looking at the performance of 2h classes, probably. Considering how conservative they have been with buffs/ nerfs.

They balanced hunters around the raz bow S1, so it’s not out of the realm.

There are a lot of fights where specs like elemental, feral, shadow, balance, and survival are all pretty low.

Are they also balanced around their non-existent legendary?

Realizing this if offtopic for this thread, but the fact that Blizzard didn’t make the legendary a str/agi polearm is baffling to me. There has never been a 2H legendary agility weapon despite there being 5 specs that use them (with 3 of those specs not being able to dual wield 1H agi weapons if/when there is a 1H agi legendary weapon). It seems like such an easy W for Blizzard to me.

I fully agree.

Super technically Ateish could be used by feral Druids in vanilla and it gave agility and cat/bear form attack power.

I am sort of thrown by this being repeated over and over. WoW is played from a single hero’s perspective, not “everyone’s” so realistically each player is an island and legendary is a meaningless term from a group perspective. I have killed the boss over 60 times on 5 toons over 3 difficulties and have not seen 1 single axe drop in any run yet so from my perspective the thing is a ghost, seems legendary enough to me from that perspective…so much so i couldn’t give an f if it shows up now, thing is stupid and not worth the effort from my perspective

60 times and the season just started, you know people want things right away but thats not how things work specially leggos , i know people got spoiled in SL with leggos that everyone got to have one even 2 of them

many of the top parsing fury warriors in heroic dont have the lego axe. Frankly thats a skill issue
