Nah nah, more malicious than that

Make forums consistently worse with each update, now it runs slower than ever before as well

Eventually more people will just get sick of it and use other places as well, IE reddits wow section, eventually forums will have so few users that blizzard can go “hey we’re closing the forums since it’s not used often and instead will be using reddit as the official wow forums, thanks for the fond memories over the years!” Now they save money by not needing to host forums anymore

RuneScape and League did it as well

I like the way you think. My conspiracy theory is they are taking the New Coke approach, make the new forums terrible and when everyone hates it bring back forums classic to cheers of all.

It looks the exact same pretty much for me. The only thing different is the “Pinned” topics area is wicked scuffed.

I think the new forum changes look amazing. I really like them.

I didn’t notice this round too much, but I don’t remember the last time they changed the forums and made them better as a result.

Have to agree. This looks like a 1990’s fan forum. Does feel like going backwards.

  2. I still think it’s DF, because that’s the new player experience and it’s where dynamic flying is introduced.

I’ve already forgotten what it looked like before the update. Not that big of a deal to me.

It’s not a ‘Dragonflight banner’. It’s a World of Warcraft banner. Check the game logo! It doesn’t really matter if it’s Alexstrasza; she’s still a WoW character. If the banner changed to that art with a human and orc snarling at each other, even though that has nothing to do with WoW’s current story, I’m guessing that’d be considered fine?
