I’m not sure where to post this, but Scarlet Crusade server and Azeroth as a whole lost one of its longest tenured players, and I lost a dear friend.
He had many alts, but his mains were Immotep, an undead priest, and Deelak, a troll rogue.
Imm played since Vanilla, and right up until Tuesday, April 29, 2025, hardly missed a day in-game. He alternated between Shadow spec and Holy, whatever our little guild and group needed, but he was an avid achievement hunter, and LOVED pet battles.
He’s now gone. Cancer. I post this here in the hopes that folks see and maybe remember seeing him around over the past 20 years. He loved this game, and right up until the end, he was doing things for other players, be it helping random players with achievements or quests, to making bags and just giving them away.
Anyway, it just made sense to speak of his passing since he devoted so much time and effort to this world we share, and he loved so very much.
Thank you for your time, any who see this.
May he be sheltered in the palm of the Creator’s hand, and may the last embrace of the mother welcome him home
Death comes for us all. We can only choose how to face it when it comes.
Clearly he chose to face it with love for his fellow man.
I’m sorry you lost a dear friend.
The grief of loss is the price we pay for the privilege of having those loved ones in our lives.
It is painful, but also beautiful.
Let that storm wash over you and let yourself experience every moment of it. Let it howl and rage around you until it has expended itself, so the sun can shine again in your heart.
I send you my hope that you will weather that storm quickly among those still with you that you cherish.
Thank you both so much. That was beautiful.
I wish I had words to ease the pain of your loss.
May all the good memories he left behind bring a smile to your heart once the pain has eased.
May he always be remembered.
I am sorry for your loss.
Damn. I didn’t know him, but I’m sorry to hear we lost a good one. Thanks for posting this on his behalf.
All my love and prayers to his family, and guildies.
It’s so hard to lose those we’ve become close to in this game and life. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, his family and friends.
Sorry for your loss. Hope you find peace.
Thank you all so very much for the likes and kind words. He would’ve been moved by it all.
I am sorry for your loss, I am glad you have those wonderful memories to share and hold on to. Cancer sucks there is no other way to put it Cancer SUCKS
I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. I never knew him but he sounds like an amazing person and anyone who knew him was better for it.
