Azeroth auto pilot, or Questie

I’ve been using this amazing addon for years.

It’s called CEUI. Comprehension and exploration under the utilization of my intuition.

Works like a charm.

2 actual Vanilla 60s and 13 private server 60s.

Easiest quest routes of my life.

It doesn’t affect you, so why does it matter?

Gear affects players. If you’re on a pvp server and you’re lucky you’ll steamroll everyone who wasnt quite as lucky. Quest trackers have 0 impact on other players. Your logic is so flawed its laughable.

I think you’ve been staying up too late playing. Get some rest, you’re not thinking straight.

Haha that’s a lie.

Do you need a safe space from the mean old addon users?

I could go old school and look up quests online, or I could use an addon. I don’t see a problem either way. I’m in Classic for the challenge. The risk of dying on a simple quest mob pull and the threat of being attacked during the downtime afterward. I’m not big on “Why am I not getting quest item drops? Are these not the right mobs? Should I cut my way through 20 mobs to see if the named I’m looking for is hiding in a tent somewhere on the other side?”

Questie worked great. Puts icons on the map for you. But if you want the true “classic” experience, don’t use one. Just read the quest text.

Update: I went back to check out AAP and questie (simultaneously) and they worked great together. I noticed AAP tracks mob/item locations on the map and minimap as well as providing the directional arrow to follow, while questie shows ! and ? and makes a great ‘log’ or ‘history’ of your questing route by zone etc. Together they make for a great questing tool. I will play with both turned on (and Atlas Maps).

I love the people who cry about others using addons when people used addons day 1 in vanilla

Questie and AAP are different entirely.

AAP is to provide you with a quest guide 1-60, what quests to take and where to go.

Questie just updates the questing interface a bit to more modern standards.

The answer to this is that people still use AAP in retail.

Yes… Yes you should, because if you are killing the wrong mob, then you didnt READ the quest. If you want to play like that they have retail for you. Using a quest trackers is pretty much cheating in classic wow. It was viewed as such back in 2004-2006, and it should be viewed as such now. It hurt the community because less people will be talking and asking questions, its just simply bad for the game.
