Ok, so with 618 ilvl and 2310 RIO, I’m declined in every key. So what do I do ?
Force myself into a group ?
Run my own key with 0 tank and heal queuing ? ( my time is not infinite, I have to work, eat and sleep)
And IF I’m taken, I’ve to compose with Diva tank leaving the group because the mage didn’t dispell of the heal being lackluster and people leaving the key left and right because it wont be timed , I don’t even get to have 5 crests at the end most of the time
That sounds to me like starting a group as a dps doesn’t work.
Anyway, I’m done cooking dinner (chicken Alfredo with broccoli) I’ll be away for a while, although I’m sure the next time I’m on there will be a lot more crying about keys.
But they ARE the primary culprit in players who were previously able to do KSH in SL and DF from advancing into 9s and 10s right now. The goalposts moved. That shouldn’t happen. Players should not have their reasonable expectations about what they can achieve in a season be drastically changed (unless, of course, there are changes to that player’s ability to play outside of the game.)
I have gotten every portal in every season since they started doing KSH in SL and now it feel unattainable.
People are saying “get gud.” Doesn’t my record speak to my ability to time +10s? I don’t think the keys are that hard. But the death penalty at +7 and lack of gilded crests until +9 are making it almost impossible for me. I know I’m not alone.
Raids have to stop being balanced around world race and degenerate strat abusers or balanced around rosters that have alt armies.
The point is the game should be designed for the average player, not the college guy with no life responsibilities or the professional streamers and streamer wannabes.
I spent much of Dragonflight’s Amirdrassil raid clearing heroic every week since it came out and it wasn’t until the final 2 weeks of Season 3 that a Pip’s trinket dropped for my balance druid. Nor did it appear on the Vault.
That’s just one example.
Yes, some people will gear via raid with some lucky drops or if they run a raid loot council that’s amenable to them and they have a raid group that starts doing full raid clears on heroic fairly quickly within the tier (we cleared Fyrakk pretty early, but I stopped raiding because it was so time consuming this tier and the tuning on heroic Nerubar is much worse). That’s not most people, and certainly not the PuG scene.
The game needs to be rewarding for the average player who doesn’t want to spend 3+ hours every day doing chores and then another set of fixed hours bashing their face against a boss in raid for a couple of weeks only to have a tiny chance at their desired loot when you realize it’s 20 people and you’re likely competing for a trinket against 7-9 people and the trinket isn’t even guaranteed to drop.
If that can soothe your nonsense , even maximum from liquid agree with us

they need to patch in another way to acquire gilded crests. There is a ton of people hard capped at 619 that are not good enough/geared enough realistically to do +9s no deplete or the last 2 on heroic.
The issue is that they did this BECAUSE of delves.
in S4 dragonflight, M0 rewarded champion gear. Blizz realised that if M0 gave champion gear this season, then delves were dead in the water. So they nerfed M0 to drop veteran gear, which then made them think they needed to push back all the rewards to make it seem like there was still some sense of progression from M0-M10.
I didn’t know this either, but you actually can ignore, if you click the characters profile and use the notification drop down window to ignore a player, But they always leave me such wonderful comments, i never do.
