I am currently 30 and my older brother that got me into the game is 42, but he hasn’t played in years.
So, I’m a 3 and he’s a 4.
But keep in mind, when WoW started, I was 10 and he was 22, so we were A’s and B’s.
I think the main demographic is in their 40’s now, with most falling a bit below or above that age.
Ha! So I’ve been told. I work a very physically demanding job, so I kind of already feel ancient anyways lol.
All the teens and kiddos on other sites I visit act like anyone over 25 is geriatric. I suppose at 30 I should apply to be the Cryptkeeper LOL
I span all the age groups in a given day.

Probably 40 in real life. 30 while in the game. 12 while on the forums.

3-4 in my experience. Right now everyone on my friends list or guild is 40+, apart from one who is mid 30s. I don’t know anyone in their 20’s playing. I think most of the younger crowd is drawn to Fortnite, CoD, etc.

The game and brand is so old and big i dont hink there is a average i would think it would be everyone 15-45.
Kind of like marvel and disney, the target audience is whoever has the money to play.

Not a range I think the most common is 34, most people who play this were born in 1990.
Like 60% of us are class of 2008 lol. Most people I meet, my self included started wow when they were 14 in 2004. Even the streamers are 34. Only fangs is like 98% 34 year olds lmao.
I’d guess 3. I’m 32 and I’ve been here since I was 16. Been subbed to wow for over 50% of my life now. Idk how I feel about that lmao.

I really don’t think the OP’s age ranges work well for wow.
Seems like it appeals to 5-85… Yes, we have a good porion of older players I suspect.
3 for me, oh how painful it was playing wc3 and tft and then seeing the trailer for wow that came with the game. but then realizing that parents were never going to pay for wow, grown af adult me has had to pamper the little child in me.
Can’t see too many young’uns wanting to play mmos, got some nephews but its all about roblox for them, and their parents want them away from vidja games as much as possible (they still harbor the stigma of games).
