Well… I’ve made some of my characters siblings to each other or the like if that’s what you mean? Like my worgen warlock being the sister to my worgen rogue but during the original fall of gilneas they got separated and the like… that or my mage being the sister to my DH and both having taken different paths when they lost their family to Arthas tainting the sunwell to bring back a lich that was to summon the legion… one chose to hone her skills the other chose vengeance and ended up Illidari
I used to play this text based online game. I got bored one round and everything that happened in the game i fleshed out into a mini novel. Each round lasted 13-16 weeks on average.
I would update it on the in game forums that was shared with my teammates every time i logged in.
Think i stopped after week 8. But i had about 90 pages worth of story laid out and it was actually pretty damn good…ive never been able to remake that and i think thats why ive never bothered to get invested in personal character backstory
It’s definitely impossible to turn off. The moment I hit New Character or anything like that, the brain gets going. If I were any good at writing it’d be cool to make short stories. None of my characters really require WoW lore.
I never really let the imagination go. I still make up stories in kingdoms thought when I was a child.
Shoutout Mr. Littlefield for telling me to never let it go
Early on I would create a story while creating a character. I did stop for a while. I’ve now created 2 new characters with somewhat similar backstories. I plan on playing one of them, and even trying rp for the first time.
I have what could amount to about 6 novels of Thallia lore if I wrote it all out. lol
But so far, only about 1/4 of that is written.
Well here’s to both of us getting some writing in… one day.
I tripped over the power cords while carrying some boxes which ended up causing the power to go out on the Draenei ship and it crashed. Sorry guys I should have clipped my hooves that morning
