2v2 bracket alone is going to have 65 teams getting rank 1 titles let alone gladiator. Imagine how many more would be getting this if they changed the system.
This isn’t true. Where are you getting this information? Only the top 25 are currently eligible for rank 1. 65 sounds actually what we -should- be getting. Do you have a source for this?
Also, nobody really plays 5v5. That’s why there’s so few spots. In TBC 2v2 is the main bracket, while 3v3 is for those trying to play a bit more competitively.
Who cares lol. Titles have lost their value over the years, not to mention 65 is not a lot. This season especially is very memey, just let people get the mounts they want.
Go check it out now. The top 65 teams in USA 2v2 is getting a rank 1 title. Now go compare this to 5v5. You can be rank 25 and will only be getting glad let alone a rank 1 title.

You had me excited that they actually fixed it for a minute damnit. Upper 60s sounds right if the cutoff was working correctly.
For an example here, last season of retail had 3 times the amount of teams getting rank 1 compared to how many gladiator spots we have right now in 3s. I divided the retail spots by 3 to compare it with our TBC team system.

yea i have some friends on oceanic servers who are all multi r1s who are getting even more shafted than the rest of the ladder.
Thats not the reason theres less available. It’s because TBC pvp sucks and Horde racials are OP. No reason for Alliance to do arena so all you get left is neckbeards and tryhards playing hardcore for a title from 15 years ago that means absolutely nothing.

Bruh, teams start at 0. Challenger is 1400. I’ve seen Multiple players on my server with over 100 games played at 800 rating.
Chill with the elitist crap. Yes the arena requirements discouraged players to PvP, but even those who did will be screwed out of rewards they would’ve earned if this bug didn’t exist.
And for reference, horde is better for ladder play and alliance is better for competitive play. Not really the point of this thread though.
Top 5v5 team for NA is horde, also every top team on EU for each bracket atm is horde.
They literally lost that rating within the last hour of having the page up lmao.
This needs to be looked at considering the amount of teams that would have qualified back in the day - vs teams that are qualifying now. Blizz respond to this asap!
The current rank doesn’t even matter, everyone knows who the best players are. They are just doing other stuff besides pushing rating.

I knew it was bad, but this is insane. Blizzard really did everything in their power to completely destroy PvP. Can’t wait to see what other stupid changes they make while ignoring the stuff the community is begging for that would actually improve the game.
