Again, YOUR playerbase is the reason so much more people are hordies. Maybe if alliance actually stayed in their faction instead of all faction transferring or rerolling we wouldnt have this problem.
Which would make them now horde players
Really not sure how you guys convinced absolutely anyone to sit in 3hr queues, but bravo. It is funny and I’m sure they all regret it by now.
As for why its horde’s fault:
If you guys defended IBGY with less than 30 people every single game, games would end in <20mins consistently and queues for horde would be 10 minutes tops
Unfortunately you’re dug-in to this situation, as shifting the meta would take weeks before any sizable amount of ally will join back up
And that’s weeks of sub-optimal HPH you sweats just couldn’t imagine going through
So instead you’ll just never play AV in under 4 hours ever again
Thats not how queues work but ok.
It is how they worked at AV launch lmfao
Or did you forget?
He might be exaggerating the time queues would take for horde but his premise is sound. When there’s a limited amount of alliance queuing then the horde in queue have to wait for alliance to queue again to fight them. If alliance won more AVs in a shorter period of time it might also encourage more alliance to queue who have written off the BG.
Might be an exaggeration, but keep in mind that before alliance AV premades were a thing, horde consistently had 5min queues or less
I said 10 mins because I assume that will have gone up with the HPH change and AB coming out
I had a 60 undead mage and bothered to farm for my epic mount, after the queues went up to 1 hour and a half i rerolled to a gnome mage on Faerlina. It hasn’t been easy to reroll but gnome is pretty cool and it’s worth it, kind of sad to leave my undead sitting untouched but i’m almost 60 on my gnome mage gonna hit 56-57 today. I don’t even care that alliance might lose some battlegrounds, at least they get to play the battlegrounds, being horde you don’t even get to play when you queue you sit in the queue for 2 hours, as alliance you might not win but at least you get to play. EDIT: btw i played 2 arathi basins on my gnome mage just for fun to test it out and we won both!! =}.
you also have to take into account the people that were only in there for rep that no longer queue. Pve players that are a majority on the alliance faction.
This is true, but I assume that there’s an equal amount of PvE players on horde
It’s just that horde PvErs can still queue into AV for free wins, while alliance PvErs stop the second they hit exalted
I think they should be excluded as they would likely join back up if we can get the win rate even remotely close to 50%
Queues work by taking the amount of players on both sides and finding the difference. Then, the game time comes into account when you take the fraction of players in and outside the BG. It ends up as a multiplier on the time based on how many are waiting for the current game to end.
If a new game starts every 30 minutes instead of every hour, the multiplier will drop significantly. It isn’t exactly a 1:1, but your queue times would drop to less than an hour and a half easily.
Then we get into more Alliance joining the BG. This reduces the differential, which in turn reduces the multiplier. I could easily see AV returning to a less an hour queue for Horde, and I am quite optimistic that it would get down to around 30-45 minutes.
The 5% intellect bonus gnomes get for a mage is very noticeable as your baseline crit rate is determined by your intellect and you don’t have to worry at all about stacking intellect gear, allowing me to focus more on stamina for survivability instead. I’ve noticed way higher crit rate on my gnome as opposed to undead and have been able to do the typical frost blizzard farming even when not stacking intellect gear as much that i would have run out of mana on my undead. plus escape artist is pretty good 1 min pvp trinket to remove all snares/slows, it does have a cast time and is susceptible to spell pushback though but you can still get use out of it.
Is it really? For every 300 points of Int, that racial would only add 15 Int. That’s 225 mana and .25% spell crit for mages, right?
Int scales better early on. Especially when it comes to AoE grinding where you often go OOM fighting a pack
225 extra mana wouldn’t even cover one rank 1 blizzard.
Alliance didn’t reroll- most of them just quit when it was clear Blizz was still favouring the Horde.
And keep in mind, while Horde told Alliance for months to just get better through phase 1-2 wpvp imbalance, the Horde response to losing AV wasn’t to get better, it was to cry to Blizzard until Blizz turned AV from what it was- a game with short’ish queues and close to equal win rates- to a BG with 2+ hour queues because it’s basically pointless unless you still need rep as Alliance.
Horde queues are a result of Horde actions- and as long as you’re dedicated to making them longer, that’s what’ll happen.
Plenty of posts from horde saying they appreciate and prefer the queue because they can get rl chores and in game tasks done while in queue. Blizzard can’t make everyone happy.
The amount of Alliance players crying in this thread about nonsense is funny
Thankfully you are the minority within your faction.
Yes because a 99% winrate is logical. Anyone who doesn’t accept that is
I don’t see one post where you advocate for Ally not having premade ability when the horde did not? If you’re going to recommend people advocate for balanced features of gameplay then maybe you should be doing that as well, even when it isn’t in your favor.
It has ruined queues from the top down. 60 AV ruined, low level bgs ruined, such a joke of a decision and still no response from Blizz
