AV is such a mess

The only fix is to allow Horde vs Horde BGs. No, not Merc mode, Horde vs Horde.

The reason this will work is because it will drastically lower Horde queue times, which means horde won’t care as much about winning, bots will move from Alliance to Horde, and games will go back from scorched earth to races.

But you guys don’t want that so guess we’ll just stick with what we got. No sweat off my back.

But the map imbalances! :sob:
But the OP racials! :sob:

The people who are laying out an argument with numbers have my vote until someone disproves it. At least they are trying to submit some kind of data. Everyone else is just like, um, no, you’re wrong. Not exactly a great come back.

Why do you lose the fight at SHGY?

English mofo, can you read it?

I addressed the assumption that we have AFKs

I then pointed out the actual issues.

Which side would you want to start on?

I don’t know many, you got guys like Sambouki here insisting that you’re blowing the issue out of proportion:

I don’t see anywhere where you’re addressing people being AFK at all. You’re just saying “MAP BAD” over and over.

North side of course. Huge advantage.

I would love for them to just flip the map starting points.

Your team gets there first. Your dead spawn 20 feet away, yet somehow Alliance seems to lose that initial skirmish a majority of the time. Why?

You’re not really smart enough to have this conversation with.

You’re definitely a troll. I take what you say with a spoonful of sugar.

Could someone explain the map advantage again, please? This is the first I’ve heard of it on these forums.

Not trying isn’t the same as afking

I know the answers to these questions, I’m just trying to get your critical thinking skills warmed up. Pick any initial skirmish on the map, the faction that wins it has a much higher chance of winning the BG. I’ve done literally a thousand or more AVs, and have an overall win % of over 80%. That means 20 out of 100 games are won by the Alliance. One thing in common, outside of the early premades, in all those Alliance wins they won the initial skirmish, either at SHGY, IBGY, SFGY or even at mid near SHB. The map is just an excuse to be used to make players feel better about choosing the more PvE-oriented faction.
