I stopped even mailing gold between my two accounts. If the algorithm flags the transaction, you are dealing with AI customer service and they will not investigate. Better to just not share gold right now.

Making it so you can’t even farm as a group and split what drops is just incredibly stupid and antithetical to Classic. It’s also literally not GDKP.

Blizzard considers it a form of GDKP, and their definition is the only one that matters. Any selling of what drops in a dungeon or raid and splitting it among the group is against the rules.

Because a CS agent is not a part of the banning process, but can review the internal reasons in what led to it.
They’re quite good at bringing to light the truth of a matter. Especially when 9 times out of 10 the “innocent” OP is far from such.
There have been exceptions and the blue who responded indicated such through telling the individual to continue to advocate through the ticketing system.
I’m more apt to believe someone who works for a company stating what they’re seeing from the inside than a random sock puppet claiming they’ve been wronged in some way and sprint straight to general discussion in lieu of the customer service forum.

Sure they are. BoE drops in a dungeon. People bid on the item. Someone wins the bid. The cut is split among everyone in the group. The bidding taking place on the AH instead of inside the instance doesn’t change the fact this is still a GDKP. These people tried to circumvent the rules and got caught.

Apparently. People are posting on here and Reddit about getting banned for circumventing the rules. AI doesn’t care about wanna be WoW lawyers trying to argue about how they technically didn’t break the rules because it isn’t explicitly stated in ToS even though what they did is clearly against the spirit and intent of the rules.

I find it exceptionally hard to believe that preventing a guild group from splitting the profits from a drop they farmed together is in the “spirit” of the rule. And I guess it’s fine if the BoE drops outside instanced content and the group splits it the exact same way?
