The funny thing about that is the aussie miners on 6 figures are selling them to the US.
I’m not 100% on this but a lot of countries are expecting tax from social media accounts who are aren’t advertising local product or services. I know its been talked about in my country but we’re a blip on on southern bottom end of earth.
I suspect we’ll have to make up the difference with increase access to American etc’s. We’re also up and down with the USD like a yoyo and to some extent, the Chinese financials.
Sometimes you could buy the USD dollar then sell it for reasonable gains if you’re paying attention. USD and the British pound both work like that for us.
Australians stop! The Americans on here need to tell us their opinion on our economy and subscription price. Sure, it doesn’t affect them at all, it’s weird that they are even commenting and they seem to know nothing about our country; but it’s important we hear them out.
Nandos & Chicken Treat both increased prices in the last year. a packet of Cheese & Onion crisps costs nearly $5, supposedly streaming services asking for more too.
Americas in a 30 Trillion dollar debt hole, and claim their dollar is strongest? How do they get away with it?
If any Aussies are wanting to still stay on the cheaper price, keep your sub going (or you had to before the 7th of Jan) – purchase a 12 month sub before the old price ends in August. It’s what I plan to do, it sucks having to pay so much up front but it is what it is.
With the state the game is in currently along with constant bad decisions i wouldn’t ever pay for a 12 month sub i’ve been paying for gametime with wow tokens for a while now.
I think if people aren’t happy with how the game is and also the sub prices its probably time to look for another game and let blizzard go down the same path as ubisoft to learn there lesson the hard way.
For once, that’s something you and I agree on. $25 p/m is too much for a 20 year old game, and I wouldn’t reward Blizzard a 12-month upfront sub for price gouging me.
