Happened to me once, never tried again.
I generally mail anything to my Nightborne bank-alt who lives in the AH and can spawn a mailbox whenever he wants.
I follow them just to annoy them back but then again grow up and use the real AH lol!!!
You’re lucky to even have the npc there. I used to dismount mine at sl start just to troll people.
i thought about mounting and dismissing the AH npc and going afk but … I fear the fires of hell that await those who do so.
Ok so just walk over to the capital city portals, port to home and use the AH there then fly all of I dunno 50ft back to the portal room. Sure maybe they are doing it on purpose because I assume they find it funny but if you try to use the AH on the mount and they run away just shrug and fine a different place to AH.
There’s no content for casuals, so messing with you is all we can find to do.
You are not entitled to use their mount services.

If they are doing it on purpose they are being rude.
But, you are not entitled to using it.

And you are ignoring my point. You cannot expect people to sit still while you use their AH mount unless you have had a discussion about it.
Are you telling people what they have to do with their mounts? You dont see the problem with that?

I have one and I don’t stand around and move purposefully. It takes longer to post so you may just had bad luck. People can be afk then move, not seeing anyone around.
Kinda entitled to expect to use someones’ ah vendor 
My favorite are the people who walk up to me on my Bruto afk near the mailbox/inn and whisper me to ask permission to use the AH.

Maybe it’s how they have fun in the game now… they are probably bored with anything the game has to offer and are making their own fun.
Is it nice? Not really, but everyone should know by now that this game has a reputation of players not playing “nice”.
If its a problem, you can either get your own method of accessing the auction or go to where there is an auction house that doesn’t run away, there are portals to Storm/Org in Oribos

I find it odd that you think it’s okay to use someone else’s Bruto without asking.
I get asked every now and then for it to be used before I dismount. Usually stay for an extra ten minutes near the mailbox after.
Well there is a portal to sw right there and back so I don’t see the problem if I let something like that bug me I’d log permanently.

get over yourself my dude. If I’m on my AH mount, I’m probably talking to friends in discord, deciding what we’re going to do next, and when we pick a dungeon, I’m headed there.
I’m not stopping to look around and see who is around me. you’re not even on my radar.
