Bumping to say still having issue. Can see in discord that it is US and EU. There are a LOT of people wasting deposit money right now. Literally throwing away gold without any idea that their item can’t sell. Fairly big issue. Please help us!

Yup. This was a bug I reported in beta and it seems to have made it way to pre-patch.

Blizzard did respond to this issue on an EU forum (https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/cant-buy-high-ilvl-boes-from-ah/396528/21), but it unfortunately still persists even after this morning’s impromptu maintenance.

I fear we may have to wait until the next weekly reset, despite this being a pretty big issue for a lot of people.

Still unable to purchase auctions over ~121k, Also still persisting in EU per discord. This is right after the hour maintenance. So the server restart did NOT fix the issue.

Please, we’ve been waiting for a few days now for this bug to be fixed, it’s a significant one for both buyers and sellers. Still persists after the NA maintenance on the 28th.

For some additional info if this ever gets seen. When trying to purchase something over somewhere around 122k you get to the last dialog box to accept the transaction and get a spinning yellow circle. Nothing happens after that.

Ya. And further (to the bugs I had filed in Beta). It’s not cross-faction and it’s not cross-server. It’s the 6 digits or more versus 5 digit or less purchase.

Can confirm this is still happening, no addons.

On the EU forums, Blizz said to wait for server restarts. I’m hearing that happened yesterday, so this should have been fixed by today.

Can also confirm I have the version listed as being the “fixed” version. I hope they weren’t telling us to wait until Tuesday’s realm restarts?

I’d love to purchase some epics for my alts that I’m switching to for the new expansion. I have a ton of gold saved up, and this is frustrating and I can’t play during the week as I’m working. Guess I’ll have to wait until next weekend. :crying_cat_face:

Auction House still messed up.
Trying to buy mount that cost 250,000 gold and I get a new window with the spinning circle of death that never ends. :o:

Yep, still busted today on Area 52. Anything above 120k seems to just get stuck on the spinning circle of doom.

I finally have the gold for a TCG mount and yet can’t buy it. /sad

As a temporary workaround, you can use the mobile AH. I was just able to purchase an item for 250,000g on mobile that I couldn’t in-game.

Oh… good to know. I’ve been reaching out directly to see if I can buy via COD in game mail.

Can’t even do this as of now. Trying to buy an item listed @ 185590g 62s on the Companion app. I can click buyout but when I click accept it just does nothing.

Is there a hotfix or trick to do to get around this bug? Mobile doesn’t work.
